- AmnesiacJack, on 07/21/2009, -2/+14Are you afraid yet, America?
- MSM - ScottMcIntyre, on 07/20/2009, -1/+12A very informative article that explores the links between illnesses and a range of symptoms. I guess the key is never to dismiss a 'minor' sympton in case it turns out to be the precursor to something a lot more serious. Better safe than sorry...
- crossmr, on 07/21/2009, -0/+8They're too busy diagnosing themselves with Asperger's syndrome to digg this.
- charm803, on 07/21/2009, -0/+6Hey, buddy, this is America, land of the lazy.
Put it on a pill, and MAYBE I will consider it.
Maybe.
(And if it comes in bulk, I'll take a year's supply.) - inactive, on 07/21/2009, -1/+6The "wonderful" healthcare system in America has people scared of going to the doctor because of the expensive prices.
Everyone thinks they should just "tough it up".
In Europe, everyone goes to the doctor to get prescription meds and full blood tests, at the minimum sign of a common cold.
Good luck with that flu, America. - dustinbolton, on 07/21/2009, -2/+6I have a better explanation on why most American's feel like crap. Because they eat crap and treat their bodies poorly.
Most Americans need to follow this advice:
Eat healthy foods, get physical activity in your lifestyle, get an adequate amount of sleep and try to limit stress. - shunban, on 07/21/2009, -0/+4Shadow protection aura!
- TVarmy, on 07/21/2009, -0/+3FTA: "Frequency matters. If you have fewer than one migraine a month, you're 50 percent more likely to have a heart attack than nonsufferers."
So, if I get few or no migraines, I'm more likely to have a heart attack than people who don't get migraines. Thanks for clearing that up, MSNBC. - Wilddigi, on 07/21/2009, -0/+3Eat fish
- damntourists, on 07/21/2009, -0/+3dugg for unnecessary media scare tactics.
- jenpernutrition, on 07/21/2009, -0/+3Now I need to have multiple personalities to keep up with my hypochondria. Great! Now I have a shadow psychological illness, too.

(I have never been told about the risk by any doctor here in the UK). - MaxPowers, on 07/21/2009, -0/+2I've never been told about it and I live in the US. I'm 22 years old, prime years for heart attacks as you know.

- mistresscin, on 08/04/2009, -0/+14 migranes try going to the chiroprator
4 skin conditions best to google, there are certian foods that trigger this to flare up, chiro might help the skin condtion as well.
let the chiro know your symptoms and he can focus on those areas, it really helps my headaches etc
you can check out if they have studies at the journal of chiropratic subluxations, unsure the exact title, but has the studies done w different diesease.
also trying omega 3s, for excema which my hub has started taking fish & flax
plus evening primrose which is suppsed to help excema
& other things to support your immune system
:) - dustinbolton, on 07/25/2009, -0/+1Well if you look at the scientific evidence, these things are pretty well known to be problems here...
- thavi, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1Beware of msnbc diagnosing you
- mistresscin, on 08/04/2009, -0/+0too often drs only look at 1 symptom totally overlooking the big picture issue theyd rather be pill pushers, the side affects are often more dangerous.
oh im depressed give u this, oh acne something else.. turns out all together w many other symptoms it was pcos
polycystic ovarian syndrome but I was the 1 that told them i suspected it was that. when most are now diagnoised in their teens i found out at approx 28. other ppl "seen" the symptoms in me when i was 14, brittle damaged hair, all knotted up, thinning on top.. tho i didnt use any harsh products i actually hated using moose or hair spray let alone colouring my hair (except for HS grad), blamed for not brushing my hair enough.. when actually it made my hair look like i havent brushed it at all.
we are never told what some disease could be a symptom of by asking some simple questions it could have been resloved.
depression is a shadow symptom of something bigger its never by itself, also too often ppl are jnot allowed to feel feelings, al lapart fo being human hate the fake happy pills like "brain candy" too unnatural & worse than the depression is the side affects.
now recently diagnosed w migranes only because i had a bizzare episode w auras... but the pain and other symptoms ive had since i was a teen apparently that was a "migrane" but not before, LOL
i relieve my symptoms w a chiropractor if ur spine isnt able to do its job by sending signals how can u be healthy??? most diseases come dwn to a misaligned spine. infertility etc etc
so pretty much u goggle ur symptoms & find out for yourself to bring it to their attention wat it could be cause they dont seem to have the time 4 that
2 the americans time 4 some growing pains, glad ur getting healthcare 4 all :)
what would you do if you lost ur job? or your plan dropped u cause u got sick? things i dont have to worry about.
canadians didnt always have universal healthcare,
so glad we do, if u think u can argue against that i have some stories for you!
cin, canada - Tolzmaniac, on 07/21/2009, -1/+1Dugg for title
- ahhell, on 07/21/2009, -1/+1I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO SCARED!!!!
- Kinneas12, on 07/21/2009, -1/+1This is all just "no ***** sherlock" sense that your doctor would certainly make you aware of if you suffered from any of these.
High blood pressure? Aw crap I forgot to do my job and tell you about your condition. Thank god for MSNBC news. - evgeniy13, on 07/21/2009, -2/+1The cause of mostly all of these diseases is aging. It begins at 27 and progresses. Though it widely considered a condition and not a disease, we should rethink our attitude towards aging, and outlaw it in our hearts. We can stop and reverse aging by means of molecular biology. Young all the way would be much much better.
- alice335, on 07/21/2009, -1/+0This is another issue that is worth our ponder. We should check the logic here. Its a clear indication that these sickness were a product of human error - remember the processed foods? Then why resort to eating those things when we can have a perfect toxic-free and preservative-free food if we are just serious to be an advocate.
http://www.bradfordsbakers.com - xGORDOx, on 07/21/2009, -2/+1Wait, so Jeffery Immelt, Obama Advisor and the CEO of GE which owns NBC which owns MSNBC puts out an article inciting fears/concerns/paranoia regarding your personal healthcare during a point in time where his boss, Barack Obama is trying to slam a healthcare bill through congress.
I'm sure there is absolutely no correlation between any of these things.
Shadow diseases or shadow propaganda? hmmm. - spookyttws, on 07/21/2009, -2/+1God dammit, did my shadow get Chlamydia again? I told him not to ***** that black girl's shadow but the ***** never listens. I think he's got Jungle Fever, which is yet ANOTHER thing I'll have to have the doctor test him for.
