- Soulthriller, on 03/12/2009, -1/+44I don't believe this was ever a "myth" in the first place...
- fluidfoundation, on 03/12/2009, -0/+36Maybe next they'll tackle the legend of pollen making you sneeze.
- joeboy70, on 03/12/2009, -1/+26I got a headache during a hail storm once. But, hey, they were big hailstones ;)
- duckbilljones, on 03/12/2009, -1/+17since when was this a myth?
Isn't this obvious?
Ah well - LeftieLucy, on 03/13/2009, -0/+14No kidding. I've been getting barometric pressure migraines since I was 14.
- Elderon, on 03/13/2009, -0/+10They are just now figuring this out? I've known this for years. Every time the weather changes rapidly or there is heavy precipitation coming I get sinus headaches that get increasingly severe until i take a sinus med for it.
- Darmichar, on 03/13/2009, -0/+9Right.
Next they're going to try and tell me they think the rise in Barometric pressure also causes Arthritis to flare up.
Those silly scientists and their crazy theories. - jba68, on 03/12/2009, -0/+8me too, I think its not the rain, but the drop in Barometric pressure.
Its not as bad as when I was a kid. I always used to get bad headaches when the storm clouds rolled in. Odd thing, during a thunderstorm it wasn't as bad, as a drizzle.
If Lived in Seattle I think I would go nuts. - Hess10, on 03/13/2009, -0/+6it's because of pressure changes that come with weather says my neurologist dad
- cyberthief, on 03/13/2009, -0/+6i already knew this.. My Mom tells me all the time, and she said she gets more sensitive to it as she ages.
- kellyut, on 03/12/2009, -0/+4how about too much rain? that seems to do it to me every time.
- enantiodromia, on 03/13/2009, -1/+4you heard it here, ignorant "conservatives" can't read simple English
- pigeonmeister, on 03/13/2009, -0/+3buried. i already knew this.
- maqikelefant, on 03/13/2009, -0/+2Wait...people actually doubted this?
- maqikelefant, on 03/13/2009, -0/+2Shut. The. *****. Up. You. Douchebag.

- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1Further proof that we weren't created, but evolved. Why would we have all these weird problems if we were created?
- lisaawesome, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1My hips and knees often get achey before rain. It makes me feel like an old lady.
- theskillwithin, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1I'm a liberal
- jeffstevens199, on 03/12/2009, -1/+2don't wear Jeff Scarfs...
- inactive, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Proof that climate change is why I don't get any sex. Damn you global warming!
- jba68, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1lol why
- enantiodromia, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1THIS IS ONLY A THEORY, NOT A LAW!
/i got nothing - VBDon, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1For me, its not the change in general weather conditions but the movement of the jet stream that results in migraines.
- inactive, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1When I was a kid, the smell of popcorn gave me bad headaches
- russau, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1i used to pretty consistently get headaches when it was overcast - i thought it was something to do with the diffuse light coming off the clouds.
- jba68, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1Ahhhh Soooo
- topguru, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1ruuuubiiiiiiishhhhhhhhh
- PaulClayberg, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1I've had one recently. This week's weather's been:
Monday: 70
Tuesday: 45
Wednesday: 80
Thursday: 70 with breezes
Friday: Snow. Lots of it. - XkenX87, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1No Its not. Unless you have a server next to your bed
- gdha, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Yeeeaaah...I'm pretty sure this was already confirmed before.
- XkenX87, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1and you got a headache
- skyer, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1you will probably also get a concussion if you are out in a big hail storm ;)
- sh0rtstop00, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0the Chinese knew this for thousand of years.
- Kzoo, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0So nobody's done a study on this before? I figured out years ago that large changes in air pressure before and after fronts give me headaches.
- turtlebreath, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0And it's probably with grant monies supported by your tax dollars.
- inactive, on 03/13/2009, -2/+2It's Leftism—not millibars.
- donna1234, on 05/08/2009, -1/+1Most people who are prone to headaches or migraines suspect that certain things, such as red wine or strong perfume, can trigger their head pain.

- powerslave71, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0rapid change in air pressure will do that to a person...

http://www.squidoo.com/remediesformigraines - CasieNow, on 03/12/2009, -2/+2I actually didnt know that! And yesterday was the first cold day in like a week and I went home w the worst headache!
- XenoSNK, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0That explains two days ago.
Went from being in the 60s to snowing to being in the 60s. - adamson, on 03/13/2009, -0/+0yes for sure my wife always predicts in advance the pressure movements and so does her mother and grandmother ... its beyond me but totally accurate
@walteradamson - rcamp350, on 03/14/2009, -0/+0This was a myth? *****. I could have lined up 100 people that I know that get migraines and headaches when the weather changes quickly... This isn't news.
- thegrantman, on 03/13/2009, -3/+2It's all in their head.
