- vikingboy, on 01/26/2009, -0/+23here's how
http://tinyurl.com/clpuhf - inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+20I am Jack's medulla oblongata. Without me Jack could not regulate his heart rate, blood pressure or breathing.
- poidh, on 01/26/2009, -6/+24My brain doesn't work.
- soulpunisher, on 01/26/2009, -5/+22I am more interested in learning how a woman's brain works...I don't think any one knows :(
- dkmj17, on 01/26/2009, -0/+7It actually contains an error... It keeps mentioning the process of putting your hand on a hot stove and having your brain tell your hand to move... but that's a reflex action. The reflex arc actually only gets to the spinal cord before a response is sent. In other words, your brain finds out about it after an action has been taken - or while that action is being taken.
- danj321, on 01/26/2009, -0/+6Lord Xenu is not pleased...
Not /s, you really pissed him off this time. - azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -2/+8I can tell.
- mr0nine2five, on 01/26/2009, -1/+7But I thought it was all about engrams and thetans....
/s - DrewPeacock, on 01/27/2009, -0/+4Dugg for the guy getting decapitated.
- megamod, on 01/26/2009, -0/+4please tell me i'm not the only one that actually tried to follow the paths.
- Newedge14, on 01/26/2009, -2/+5Didn't see this coming at the front page, but insightful nonetheless..
- spaceshipsix, on 01/26/2009, -1/+4A trip back to 7th grade is occasionally welcome.
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -4/+7Its called the "dick".
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3Agreed. A brain is waaaay more interesting when experienced in the 1st person.
- scratend0788, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3@XkenX87
i'm going to ignore the first part.
im serious, just taking the piss a bit.
im not going to give you a reding list, but im fairly well read in terms of psychology/neurology, and im serious that stuff like that can give you a more understanding perspective on people/woman.
Having said that some stuff just serves to make you more cynical, which i dont think is all that productive in dealing with people.
i'd say your atitude matters more than what you know, but what you know can help you conciously improve your atitude. - scratend0788, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3on a serious not there are relatively big differences between mens brains and womans brains.
some help us undertand why women are so stange.
i would recoomend reading into it. - dazparkour, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3My poorly programmed robot avatar iambrucenolan just woke me up to say I had a message!
I guess I'll update him now. - Kitarist, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2at least something thats interesting and well well presented
- earlvanze, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Coincidentally we're learning the brain and nervous system in biology right now.
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -2/+4It's easy to tell how a woman's brain will work. Find what is logical, and do the exact opposite.
- RutgerB, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2It would be worth a Nobel prize
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3The More You Know.
- CoD4, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3the straight part
- scratend0788, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2well if i were to humour you that you were born with a complete understanding of people and a perfect atitude, then why are you asking me to elaborate?
grow up. - angusm, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3This is a better introduction to the key components: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snO68aJTOpM
"Brainstem! Brainstem!" - flamyngo, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3Um, how do YOU know how my brain works?
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Then how did you just type that?
HAHAHA BUSTED! BOOM! - falkonv7l, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3It reminded me of Hannibal, where he fed that dude some of his own brain.
- EcadSGO, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3I would tell you but then I would have to kill you....
- xGBox, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2Similar to this:
http://i44.tinypic.com/10z8exh.jpg - BuckCynnie, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3It seems that the Diggers to this one are envious of those of us that have a brain.
- rikwakefield, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2That is truly wonderful to read. I felt so weird thinking about my brain looking like that.
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3Then how do they walk and speak?
HAHAHA GOT YOU! BOOM. - mjhamilton, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3If they had brains, they would be able to drive.
ZZZZZZZZING!!!!!!!!! - squelched, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3ill bury you're face with my block button
- p4r4d0x, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1hurr durr
- ictoan, on 01/26/2009, -1/+2So if person head bangs a lot then does that affec the occipital lobe?
- monarch00, on 01/26/2009, -3/+4This is great, but...
Someone needs to show us how a woman's brain works. - theoneness, on 01/26/2009, -0/+1This shows the anatomy of the nervous system, not how it works.
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+2stfu.
everyone who bitches about people who bitch about multiple pages should seriously consider not going on the internets ever again. Myself included. - DeskFlyer, on 01/27/2009, -0/+1There was a decapitation???
- Phonk, on 01/26/2009, -0/+1Does brainless exist?
- Metasquares, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1Through the miracles of SCIENCE!
Also, imaging people while asking them to make faces. - Metasquares, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1I wasn't too impressed with the descriptions of the lobes. They each do so much more than what the article states.
- JAHred, on 01/26/2009, -2/+3I'm afraid you're wrong, but I'm not going to argue with you. You're way smarter than the people at Mayo Clinic.
- inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+2A zombie ate my brain.
- vanithav, on 01/27/2009, -0/+0Thank God I have a BRAIN!!
- iambrucenolan, on 01/26/2009, -2/+2Mine is controled by Mac OSX (the predecessor of Matrix)
- wesniles, on 01/26/2009, -3/+3i dont even think women know how their brains work
- azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -1/+1Anyone who has ever seen MacGyver is aware of the importance of high school science.
