- AnotherBrian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Fork lifts come in a verity of capacities, they just didn't have a tall enough one. I know a bit about heavy equipment and neither of those forklifts are multi-telescoping units that can reach that high. Sure they could have rented a bigger one but maybe there wasn't one available for under $10,000 because it's 200 miles away. Also, how would they have reached the truss, by the angle, it looks to be about 30ft above them. Plus that is a roof truss and is NOT supposed to be use to lift things.
Sure the double forklift is a touchy operation, but it's totally sound from a physics standpoint. I think it was a rather creative solution to a problem and I applaud them for it. - Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It looks like a magazine article tbh.

There is a sweet spot where the car doesn't want to flip back down and actually probably wants to flip the other way... hence the curb.
