- supanaturalhigh, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8I like FreeCell...
- evilTak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Ditto, I can't stand to play freecell for more than a minute or two. Label me insane in the mainframe...
- DarthTurducken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This game is much more addictive:

Tip: Ignore the wings and focus on the haystacks - s000t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2To boost statistics it's actually a lot easier than that: If you press Ctrl+Shift+F10 you'll be prompted with Abort(to win), Retry(to lose), Ignore(to cancel). Not only that, there is an impossible game...#11982 !!!!1one!!
- denisio50, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am consistently 93% (I zero out after every 100 games), and I have found none of the 32000 possible configurations are impossible. The most times I have to repeat a configuration is three times. I've streaked as long as 67 games. The only downside of the game from a records perspective is; you can cheat! While you're in the game, if you think you've failed the game, before it tells you, you can ctrl-alt-del, hit close app, click no for don't want to end this game, then wait for it to close app, then it doesn't count the game. So, a screen shot with some astronomical record could be faked.
- TriZz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5I think you have to be pretty demented to actually sit there and play FreeCell. That game is soooooo boring!
- spazzieNoid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4top 10 ways of checking for dementia.
--------------------------------------------------
As you all know, dementia is partial insanity brought about by an unknown cause, but technically the grey matter starts to melt and the pool of brain stuff that is left typically recombines in interesting ways giving rise to interesting, albeit spontaneous and wierd new thoughts from the individual. This is no joking matter; as you are aware 1/4 of elderly people develop this condition and as you know we will one day become elderly.
The FreeCell test is quickly becoming the standard for weeding out or discovering Altz. or dementia.(unfortunately sometimes this information is sometimes used to discriminate and keep others from playing such things with the group such as hide and seek). The altruistic hope is that we can start doing early prevention techniques. The standard early intervention is to start the individual on a healthy repetitive dose of behavioral conditioning. They are told over and over again over a period of months, "hey you are not making any sense, hey change they way you are thinking." Hopefully one day if they do develop this condition when someone tells them they are not making sense, they can connect the dots then and in a "Brilliant Mind" type fashion, heal themselves.
There are other methods of determining the condition starting with having someone that spends quality time with the person that is themselves not currently at risk for dementia watch for signs of dementia. This is why males are encouraged to marry women at least 20 years younger than them, so that their partner can let them know if they are dehabilitating.
This other method, interacting with people, sharing meaningful conversation with them, has been written off at this point as too intensive, and in some cases, downright unpleasant.
The other 8 methods are being held secret by an uber-rich ultra-elite society that only uses them to diagnose one another and then in jest to call one another related nicknames. - EyeWinSometimes, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I love freecell. I like to see how long I can keep my winstreak going, although there are some that have been found to be impossible, unlike I previously thought. Most are possible though, just annoying.
- badave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1CTRL-ALT-DELETE -> Processes -> Freecell.exe -> End task
Though that's cheating... :-p
Dugg cause I like freecell and the description made me laugh. - s000t, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The Freecell challenge: http://www.austega.com/diversions/FreeCell/freecell.htm
Has plenty of information about the harder games, impossible 11982, etc. - missflibbles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Okay, wait a minute. Why are the people who like freecell and making comments relevant to the story getting modded down?
"Man, freecell is for fags." *click click click*
You people who comment just to say you don't like the topic of the story, or mod people down because you don't like what they say need to go get lives. While you're at it, learn a little about the concept of moderation. - StephenChow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Awsome, I was just playing freecell, good game.
- KaneDragon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1So, it's never been checked if all games are solvable? Is there a kind of automated thing that could be set up?
- JgordonMA, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2News Flash: If you suck at FreeCell, you are clinically insane.
- spengy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5I can't stand to play it.
Does this mean I have dementia? - armbar, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3How about I mod down both of your posts?
- legom7, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1130? I always solve it under 110!
- Alex2, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I, for one, solved Spider Solitaire in 130 moves once.
Life is good. - AugustZephyr, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0I'm waiting for the day they use DOOM or HALO to screen for violent behavior in kids. Oh that's right, they already blame video games for all kinds of violence.
- spengy, on 10/12/2007, -16/+3I can't stand to play it - does this mean I have dementia?
- spengy, on 10/12/2007, -16/+2The comment system is being weird again - mod one of my posts down.
