    Most of the mothers are slightly/ overweight. I knew someone just like it when I was growing up with her autistic son.

    She would drink 'diet' sodas by the palate to try to lose weight. And im guessing most of these other mothers do as well.

    Diet pepsi was introduced in 1964. and became popular in the 1980s. Which correlates with the huge spike in autism in young children in the 1980s.
