Bush Administration Responds to Pro-Abortion Criticism

lifenews.com — of Rule Protecting Docs Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The head of the Health and Human Services deportment is responding to concerns from pro-abortion groups that a proposed rule to protect pro-life doctors would somehow limit contraception and birth control. Secretary Mike Leavitt said that reading of the rule is incorrect.

Thank God for such doctors. May God bless them and protect them from the murderers of these innocents. I know that the Lord weeps over every child of His that is murdered in this brutal way. O Lord - how long will you delay your return?
  • rooforlife, on 08/12/2008, -0/+2I read quite a few comments on the Secretary's blog that referred to birth control being labeled as a abortifacient then women wouldnt have access to controlling the numbers of children they have. That’s wrong there is Natural Family Planning - ovulation method that works Ive known couples that used it for many years and NFP works great. Also comments killing a fertilized egg before it implants to the wall of the uterus isnt abortion, how can it not be? We were all once JUST a fertilized egg, if we were killed during the first week of our life before implantation, we wouldn’t exist, hence abortion!
