- rblinne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is a great concept and since it is mechanical and not chemical the side effects should be less. The key difference between a dormant cancer and a growing one is that latter is creating blood vessels through a process named angiogenesis (see http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=99#angiogenesis ). This could potential interrupt this process in an extremely targetted fashion.
