- ctbfourone, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1i don't know if i would be considered an environmentalist, but i support causes that help support a healthy environment, i ride a bike & public transit, and i don't touch bottled water. i carry a plastic water bottle that i refill.
i think just because you label someone an 'environmentalist' doesn't make them one. people are knowledgeable of environmental issues to different degrees, and have different habits because of them. there might be plenty of ignorant 'environmentalists' at those concerts today who don't know about the ills of bottled water, but if you took the time to inform people instead of criticizing them you'd do a whole lot more good than sitting around with your thumb up your self-righteous ass. - lowjeep, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0It's unbelievable how all the "environmentalists" seem to go through cases and cases of this stuff. I wonder how many bottles they will go through at the Live Earth concerts today? Also, what are the chances they will actually be recycled?
