I just hope we as a society can grow towards healthier body images and stop idolizing the malnourished look.- LUCCHINA, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Tragic. I confirm.
- lucy22, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6Yes, the starved image promoted in models sets up such unhealthiness in teens who try to emulate this.
- h0ser, on 07/18/2008, -3/+5hmmm, completely contradicts the whole. Low calorie diet makes people live longer article i read last week.
- Disco1Stu, on 07/18/2008, -1/+4Umm...I'm pretty sure there's a point of diminishing returns on that.
- beerock, on 07/18/2008, -3/+2Sad *****, serious mental illness. Manage your body with activity and put down the ***** Cosmo.

http://baby-doll-toy.blogspot.com/ - kickoff22, on 07/18/2008, -1/+6I think a lot has changed in recent years towards size 0 models. The awareness is there. I see so many plus sized commercials on TV and in magazines now. Seems to be going in the right direction.
- FuryOfThor, on 07/18/2008, -1/+4I like breasts too much to ever think anorexia is physically attractive
- nontoxyc, on 07/18/2008, -4/+1I've read in a lot of places that calorie restriction diets are amazing at prolonging life in various mammals--reducing calorie intake by 40% helps mice live about 35% longer--by that I would expect anorexia to ADD 25 years to someone's life.
- Surferess, on 07/18/2008, -1/+6This is a great statistic to get out to the public. It really makes you think.
- VyPR, on 07/19/2008, -1/+2And being grossly overweight isn't just as dangerous? Neither extreme is good for you, and no two people live and die the same way.
