- lilhelper, on 11/09/2008, -5/+124Digg: curing AIDS every week
- jayrok, on 11/08/2008, -6/+98News flash: AIDS is also "slightly impractical".
- hazard99, on 11/09/2008, -4/+95Wow, I read his name as "Dr. Guitar Hero" twice. I really need to get some sleep.
- skoles, on 11/09/2008, -2/+65Follow up:
Doctor who discovered miracle AIDS cure found dead after falling on some bullets. - chrisinsocalif, on 11/09/2008, -0/+62How sad, they guy had AIDS and cancer? Talk about the world being against you.
- skywiselh, on 11/08/2008, -4/+49Yes, I really gonna trust my life to an untested supplement with 'miracle' in it's name. Unless you can show me some real double blind studies, I call this *****. Because it is.
- pinstripewizard, on 11/09/2008, -0/+44Cash, liquefied to a highly concentrated serum and injected in to the blood stream.
- septicmadman, on 11/09/2008, -1/+39Not everything has to be double blind. In fact in this case it wouldn't even have to be a blind experiment to sway me. I think it would be safe to bet that a placebo effect does not cure AIDS.
- pinstripewizard, on 11/09/2008, -0/+37I know a Nigerian prince you'd love.
- SilverBlade2k, on 11/09/2008, -0/+36I've had a bone marrow transplant. It is by far the most intense procedures that one could go through. You are literally put on the edge of death...
- Paulish, on 11/09/2008, -2/+37An impaired immune system caused by AIDS may cause cancer. Often people have cancerous cells in their body, but the immune system quickly kills them. The body can't fight cancer as effectively with a compromised immune system.
At least, that is my guess. - Oronar, on 11/09/2008, -0/+32Well if he didn't also have cancer he would still have AIDS.
- pinstripewizard, on 11/09/2008, -2/+33You need aids.
- diggitalism, on 11/09/2008, -0/+23a cure for AIDs that's all on one page? you've got my digg.
- dafragsta, on 11/09/2008, -4/+26Everyone knows the cure for AIDS is piles and piles of money.
- diskoh, on 11/09/2008, -0/+22Can't Undo Real Epidemics
- bwdd, on 11/09/2008, -1/+22He was joking, or being sarcastic or something. Didn't you notice the quotations?
God dammit, do you ever go outside? - warsongs7, on 11/09/2008, -0/+21They should just inject AIDS patients with cash.
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -1/+21Do you put out?
- Murdats, on 11/09/2008, -1/+20the HIV deniers don't know this.
- DeathToaster, on 11/09/2008, -0/+19I Googled "MMS AIDS" and found this page.
Don't you think if this stuff worked we would have heard about it? There would be way too much money to be made for them to keep quiet about this stuff. - TheMachine1, on 11/09/2008, -2/+21Thats prevention not a treatment.
- mbm985, on 11/09/2008, -1/+18i love how every time they say HIV, they need to explain that it causes AIDS. like the world didn't know.
- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -0/+17A. Dorris? That's an awful name for a 25 yr old.
B. You can't "catch your fun". That made me laugh.
C. 25 is not a tender age
D. If this were an actual business transaction, I woiuldn't give a ***** if you were "fair in complexion" "a girl" "tall" or "caring in nature".
E. I hate these stupid, stupid Nigerian scams. They're lame and if someone falls for them, they deserve their money taken, because these things are so painfully obvious a scam. - Aguyinachair, on 11/09/2008, -0/+16Breaking: Cure for AIDS....Don't get AIDS.
- santaliqueur, on 11/09/2008, -0/+16Nah man, the corporate fatcats are making too much money treating the people, they dont WANT you to know about a cure (annoying hippie voice)
- Aguyinachair, on 11/09/2008, -0/+15Report. Block. Move on .
- Paulish, on 11/09/2008, -0/+15I believe that goes under the category of "prevention", along with "Use condoms" and "cut off your dick".
- sgtbutterscotch, on 11/09/2008, -2/+16I believe Digg just reached some sort of milestone right here.
- NixiePixel, on 11/08/2008, -7/+21And what double-blind, peer reviewed studies have supported the claim that MMS "cures" AIDS?
- Aguyinachair, on 11/09/2008, -0/+14Thank you for that stunning update only quasi-related to this article.
- TheMachine1, on 11/09/2008, -0/+13I assumed that the "impractical" part would be the inability to find a bone marrow match(that killed my cousin from his leukemia like cancer). But I never noticed that in the article. I assume you need both a suitable bone marrow match (difficult to find) and one with the CCR5 mutation(About 1% of Europeans). So that difficult to find * 100. And you might have a 30% chance of dying from the treatment.
- justanto, on 11/09/2008, -1/+13Another impractical cure for aids to to give everyone in the world an aids test and then kill them (in such away that you don't get aids yourself). This would probably have to be repeated at least once just to make sure.
- vogelshock, on 11/09/2008, -1/+13One of these days, we're going to cure AIDS. And that's going to be one, ***** brilliant day.
- schnikies79, on 11/09/2008, -0/+12Take some basic college-level bio and chem classes and see if you still fall for this *****. I'm guessing you wouldn't.
The reason there are no double-blind studies is because MMS as a cure is 100% absolute and total *****. Maybe it's the chemist in me talking.. Naa, I must be part of the "system." - D4r7h3v1l, on 11/09/2008, -2/+14It's never lupus! Why the hell does Foreman always ***** suggest it‽
- chutotoro, on 11/09/2008, -0/+11PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this help to cure AIDS and HIV. What an amazing day it will be when this disease is cured.
- m4csrgh3yk3v, on 11/09/2008, -2/+13*****, even if placebo did, we'll take it!
- ilpasetto, on 11/09/2008, -0/+10His name is Dr. Gero...am I honestly the only one to recognize that name?
- EmperorOfCheese, on 11/09/2008, -0/+10I see nothing but anecdotal evidence. Oxidizing only a pathogen within the body wouldn't work. Too many healthy cells would undergo lysis.
- richbleak, on 11/09/2008, -0/+10Irony rears its ugly head as it is discovered that the blade used to cut off your dick was, in fact, infected with AIDS......
- TheMachine1, on 11/09/2008, -0/+9Sex explains pretty much all human problems since its how we reproduce. If we were not here there would be no problem.
- TheMoniker, on 11/09/2008, -2/+11Die.
- VagueRant, on 11/09/2008, -0/+9The hell are you MMS people coming from? Every digg story this week having to do with anything remotely medical in it has had someone talking about this so called miracle drug.
I'll just stick to my good ol' reliable snake oil, thanks. - sloonark, on 11/09/2008, -1/+10Good advice for babies born with it.
- PurpleDee, on 11/09/2008, -0/+9FTA: '...most likely because its target cells are invulnerable mutants.'
Awesome - FatLoser, on 11/09/2008, -0/+8or just a south park episode like everything else funny on digg
- doublefelix, on 11/09/2008, -0/+8Well, I wouldn't want to know how it feels to first have all ythe cells in your bone marrow killed off along with most of your immune system. Figuratively speaking, that comment made you sound like an *****.
- CarStan, on 11/09/2008, -0/+8Teen-AIDS-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles?
- breadfred, on 11/09/2008, -0/+8Jeez that was so wrong. Yet so right.
