I sleep at 2am, wake at 7am and feels like *****, it's what real people do. - GiJoeBob, on 04/09/2008, -3/+49Get up early, go to work early and then sleep at your desk.
- mrloco, on 04/09/2008, -0/+42Morning wank ftw.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -0/+418- delete the Digg bookmark.
9- thank me latter - snoonoo, on 04/09/2008, -3/+40Part of me bursts out of bed each morning regardless.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -2/+37#8 Get off before bed (either through sex or some other means) it will release hormones to help you sleep.
- piratearggghhh, on 04/09/2008, -0/+28Have mother pull you out of your racecar bed.
- roseman5285, on 04/09/2008, -1/+27i just set my ihome to play the 18 seconds into the beginning of "angel of death" by slayer, right before araya lets out a massive scream....great way to bolt out of a dead sleep
- anogenic, on 04/09/2008, -1/+26Lucky you. As of now I'm waking up in 6 hours and 10 minutes, I'm drunk, I juste ate a sausage and I'm about to eat another one, I want to ***** but my gf is at work, I don't want to sleep yet, I'm drunk, oh and worst of all I'm on digg!
I wish this wasn't a normal thing but it is... - tj111, on 04/09/2008, -0/+20Story of my life. I can't fall asleep at night, then have trouble waking up in the morning.
- unknownsoldierX, on 04/09/2008, -0/+20Here's an idea: START smoking. Then, each night before you go to bed, put all your cigarettes as far away as possible, at the other end of the house.
- BigLLamasHouse, on 04/09/2008, -1/+20quit yer whackin
- akatherder, on 04/09/2008, -1/+19Get drunk and hook up with a horribly ugly disgusting member of the opposite sex. Go home with him or her. That will wake you up fast and get you moving.
- awesometastic1, on 04/09/2008, -0/+18they may achieve tons before I wake up, but I achieve just as much well after they've gone to bed.
- jeet404, on 04/10/2008, -1/+18Thank you for letting us know...
- Bukowsky, on 04/09/2008, -1/+17Ha! They actually list "A Water Hack"
Ironically... I've always been told to drink a pint of water first thing before you go to bed, and first thing when you wake up. I actually do this often. I would say that it helps get me going. Even though, I still find myself drinking coffee for the first few hours of my workday... hmmm? - woofers07, on 04/09/2008, -0/+16Me too, but I'm mainly "unlocking" achievements.
- UncleCrapper, on 04/09/2008, -0/+14Only when she rolls over on me...
- saxreturns, on 04/09/2008, -0/+13TRAB PU KCIP... TRAB PU KCIP!
- mnugent, on 04/09/2008, -1/+13I'll try them, but i reckon i'll still have tears in my eyes as i drag myself out of bed early in the morning.
- isunktheship, on 04/09/2008, -1/+12Puts hair on your chest, builds character!
Downside, puts hair on your chest if you are female (and not making your husband breakfast). - h0ser, on 04/09/2008, -0/+10Really? When i try to quit I don't want to leave bed. In fact I try to sleep through the whole day so I won't have to feel the withdrawl.
- wankelrotary, on 04/09/2008, -0/+10At the risk of sounding unseemly, pounding back water just before I go to bed certainly will get me OUT of bed in a hurry in the morning.
- gregulate, on 04/09/2008, -2/+12i see what you did there
- cmiller1, on 04/09/2008, -0/+9Just do it, every day, don't even wait a second, just get right up the second you're concious. Humans are incredible at adapting, it may sound crappy but after a week or two it will happen without thought.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -1/+10true. im so tired of hearing about how great people feel and all the hours of great sleep they get. life is unfair and sucks for most people. no 7 tips to... will change this
- seventoes, on 04/09/2008, -1/+10Yes?
- superspud, on 04/09/2008, -3/+11You were dugg down because drinking a pint of water isn't going to harm the homeostasis of your body. If you have to much water in your blood, water is moved into your bladder where it can sit comfortable (sort of) until you go to the toilet. In fact, you can safely drink pints and pints of water safely as long as you allow yourself to pee.
A while back a women died in a 'Wee for your Wii' competition. The game was to drink as much as you could without peeing. She died because she didn't allow her body to extract the excess water from her blood which lead to water intoxication. - Blade2000, on 04/09/2008, -4/+11Digg me down, but this list is GAY!
- linkerjpatrick, on 04/09/2008, -0/+7I don't like burst out of bed in the morning. Nothing beats just laying there in the early morning.
- RustyJ, on 04/09/2008, -1/+8I set my alarm clock extremely loud to an awful country station. Before I had it set to NPR, which would just incorporate into the dream I was having (interesting enough..). Now when i'm asleep in the morning my dream shifts to "what the ***** is this??" and I snap out of it.
- actionscripted, on 04/09/2008, -3/+9#8 (for me and the rest of us) Quit smoking. The few times I've tried quitting this has made a HUGE difference in waking up.
- malex, on 04/09/2008, -0/+6NPR dreams... I once had a long argument with Colin Powell that way.
Bastard wouldn't listen to a word I said, but he did serve some nice coffee. - inactive, on 04/09/2008, -1/+7I always find myself alone and depressed in the morning if you know what i mean *nudge nudge*
- spaceman84, on 04/10/2008, -0/+6Because everyone knows you're too ***** dumb to remember the address.
- gregulate, on 04/09/2008, -0/+5Actually, the homeostasis is homeostasis like in homeostasis.
- d3dm, on 04/10/2008, -2/+7Yeah, sure. Waking up early is great if you have to milk cows or plow a field but I'd argue that true innovation is not created by early risers. It's more often the result of a lazy person trying to find an easier way to get something done.
- imitationflavor, on 04/09/2008, -2/+7Dugg for the hot girl with headphones and tatoo in bed.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -3/+8I get up at 5:30 or 6 am every morning, put on my shorts, running shoes, shirt, eat a peice of fruit, grab my ipod...crank some mastodon until i can hardly stand it run a mile or two, have a massive breakfast and hit the shower.
Getting up and expending energy by running makes me want to get back home ASAP and chow down on some food. Only takes about 30 minutes total...but it's totally worth it and my energy levels are through the roof the rest of the day.
Waking up just 30 minutes earlier and doing this will change your life, seriously. - tobor0, on 04/09/2008, -0/+5Hear hear.
The early morning isn't the only time to be highly-productive. Let's hear it for the people who stay up late spinning hours on their projects and passions. - mlagana, on 04/09/2008, -0/+5i'de prefer to sleep in,
- JustFender, on 04/09/2008, -0/+4OH! (in the voice of Quagmire)
- turkoftheplains, on 04/10/2008, -0/+4it actually works better if you snort it.
- spaceman84, on 04/10/2008, -0/+4You know what else works? If you're really concerned about that *****, you should take regular lead supplements. It blocks it right out.
- Cowmin, on 04/10/2008, -0/+4good advice "billy boobs"
hehe - YonicSouth, on 04/10/2008, -0/+4I've been doing the alarm across the room for a couple years now. It's just made me a REALLY good sleep-walker.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -3/+7sex? bury it for nonsense
- druakara, on 04/09/2008, -0/+4Strangely enough - that is actually a very effective method (at least for me.) I leave my smokes on a different floor of the house, and my lighter in a different room from the smokes, then I'm forced to stumble down the stairs, dodge the dog that has to pee, grab my pack, wander to the back door, grab the lighter, let the dog out, light my cigarette, then start the coffee. It works out quite well.
