- Logicexe, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4013. Eating a balanced diet and exercising.
- Bogo, on 01/05/2009, -2/+22Tape worms for weight loss is a great idea. No effort required!
- atGmailDotCom, on 01/06/2009, -1/+20I remember trying to tell a health nut that those Ear candles didn't do anything and the wax they saw was from the candle itself. Long story short, science is biased toward the "corporations" and I am an ignorant *****.
- alanocu, on 01/06/2009, -0/+14Thigh-master?
- orangetiki, on 01/05/2009, -4/+16Muslim coated candle?
- captainbethany, on 01/06/2009, -0/+8ARGH! Ear candling makes me so angry. Correction: trying to convince people that use ear-candling that it's a gimmick is impossible and REALLY frustrating.
- Gr00ver, on 01/06/2009, -0/+8Is it so hard to understand that simply eating right and exercising is all it takes?
- benhasek219, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6what about magnetic bracelets? they were good enough for Michael Jordan
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -3/+9It's a real pain drying and then grinding them down to a fine powder to coat the candles, believe me.
- MacEnvy, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6Yeah, but so were the Wizards. And we know how that turned out.
/Washingtonian - Natitude, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6I think tapeworms is the most disgusting way to lose weight I've ever heard of
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+5Yeah, I think I saw Martha Stewart grease up a turkey and eat it with her ass.
- Jektal, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4The baby doesn't exactly feed off the placenta itself, it's a delivery mechanism, not a source.
- caityD, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4tape worms were like, way popular in the thirties.
- Bean1Bandit, on 01/06/2009, -2/+6How about crapping out of your mouth?
Did that ever catch on? - latingirl, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3South Beach Parasite, BABY!!!
- MrSparkle666, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I still think the Blood Type Diet raises some interesting ideas that should be explored further by science, but the original author/practitioner took it way too far to ridiculous extremes.
- ralphodog, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I once dated a girl who was seriously trying to acquire tapeworms in order to try it out. You'd be surprised how crazy/stupid some people are.
- Myztry, on 01/06/2009, -2/+5The only thing likely to be beneficial is the rather foul sounding Placenta Drinks.
The Placenta is a wonderful little factory of all kinds of life essential compounds, and could be quite nutritious.
Certainly much better in theory than other organs we eat like kidneys, livers, etc.
I wonder about some of the (pig) hormones, (pig) stem cells, etc. they may contain though.
Kidneys and livers put me right off as they serve as toxin collection and filtering points... - smuirhead, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3"This swelling and burning was once assumed to be sexual arousal"
wha? - funkydude101, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Holy crap. I've never heard of this "Breatharian Institute Of America".
Look at the site. He says we're basically living in a Matrix-esque world and all we really need to survive is a McD's quarter pounder with cheese and diet cokes. The most ridiculous thing I've ever read. How do people come up with this *****.
http://www.breatharian.com - Wackoman, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3In the early 90s, John Harvey Kellogg, the founder of the Kellogg cereal company, popularized colonic irrigation to flush out to toxins from the body.
Umm, don't you mean 1890's? Kind of important info. - elefaint, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I hate this worm inside of me!
- ChromaVita, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2I like it better when I picture the baby randomly taking bites out of it.
- ohearn, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Well they will work....too well
- chuckDontSurf, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2Well, Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity are still pretty popular, so yeah, I guess it did catch on.
- sriel, on 01/06/2009, -3/+5Bizarre health fads that (unfortunatly) made it:
-Chiropractic
-Homeopathy
-Acupuncture - KingGorilla, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2oh they understand that. They just want something easier
- ChromaVita, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2Well that's a modest proposal...
- MacEnvy, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Hey, he only needs one person to buy the program, then he's set for life. I'm sure there's at least one rich person stupid enough to try it.
- KingGorilla, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2I think they call it bulimia nervosa
- funkydude101, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Ok it has to be a joke or something.
From the site under "Initiation Workshops":
Total cost of workshop is $25,000,000.00
(the cost is not a misprint)
The process starts with a $10,000.00 USD deposit - scamper22, on 01/06/2009, -3/+4yeah, but they have tried to make it easier. At least they blow themselves up which takes care of the big pieces.
- gracias, on 01/06/2009, -0/+113. Mona Vie
- marioara, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1the simple idea of having a tape-worm brings me chills
- Zedian, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1My mom as silly as she was use to think it worked when I was kid and complained that my ear ached real bad.
The smell of the wax and fire burning the plate was enough to make me want to puke. My ear would actually worsen.
Sorry but having a big piece of toilet paper on fire near your ear does not make you better. - ninjatech123, on 01/07/2009, -0/+1Google "tapeworm diet" and take a look the first link.
- ninjatech123, on 01/07/2009, -0/+1Happens semi-frequently in the animal kingdom.
- chuckDontSurf, on 01/07/2009, -0/+1I hear the baby is loaded with nutrients too; perhaps you should consider eating it.
- ChromaVita, on 01/08/2009, -0/+1So this guy is some amazing being who is the only one to know about the 5d world we come from, but he types the sentence "Like all societies, there are always people who want to up the annie."
Alright... - JFitzpatrick, on 01/07/2009, -0/+1a LOT of study you say?
The internet has an amazing thing called hyperlinks, why don't you provide a few to some of these amazing studies? - JakeW, on 01/08/2009, -0/+1FTA
"There are several testimonials from people who claim to have been benefited from bee stings. A woman claims her rheumatoid arthritis was reversed after she got 80 stings every other day. The practice is particulalry strong in China where about 3,000 private clinics provided treatments to more than 230 million people in 2005.'
So that's where all the bees went. - chuckDontSurf, on 01/07/2009, -0/+1I don't know; drinking placenta sounds pretty goddamn disgusting, especially if you've ever seen a placenta.
- ChromaVita, on 01/08/2009, -0/+1She sounds pretty dumb. So she was hot?
- niseeta, on 05/06/2009, -0/+0Quite a week, indeed. - http://www.proskintreatment.info/
