and before anyone complains about the 11 things on 12 pages just click the "print" link to the right of the text to get it all on one page.
or just click this -- http://abcnews.go.com/print?id=7813245 - woofers07, on 06/12/2009, -0/+10Do you call fish "sea-kittens"?
- mantis108, on 06/12/2009, -0/+8Do they improve my health more if I eat them?
- nahsrocketeer75, on 06/12/2009, -0/+7A truly fascinating compilation. Here's just one example: "In 2005 the Food and Drug Administration approved the drug Byetta, derived from Gila monster venom. The injectible medicine is effective at helping people with Type 2 diabetes maintain healthy glucose levels. The drug also slowed the emptying of the stomach, decreasing appetite and helping patients to lose weight."

- ghatid, on 06/12/2009, -0/+2Yea, I think the idea is similar to eating human fetuses.

Then it would be the opposite. - slopoke, on 06/13/2009, -0/+1I think the key is in the length of the article. There may be a goldilocks zone for how much can be fit on each page, therefore how much an article should be divided. This also implies that the complaints arise because we are basing them on how we feel about the length and number of divisions. I think that, since we are basing on feel, it is also very subjective.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 06/12/2009, -0/+1I don't know if I am the only one who feels this way, but I have some sort of internet OCD (though I seriously hate to belittle OCD; I'm not sure what the term is that I should use) I feel like whenever I am reading something that is incredibly long and on one page, that I am getting too far from the top and this is an annoying thing, like if I want to scroll back up and reread something, but I'm not sure where exactly it was; it's a lot easier to do that when there are multiple pages I think (sorry for the run-on). Anyway, I think I might feel like I'm reading from a really long newspaper. Another thing is, it just seems to me that articles that can be subdivided easily, should be on different pages.
I once heard an argument that multiple pages means longer loading times on each page, once that site reaches Digg, but I don't think this would happen with ABC's site. I dunno, maybe you all have dial-up or something. - ghatid, on 06/12/2009, -0/+1They should use Gila Monster venom when doing open heart surgery. Maybe it'll help when they cool down the temperature of the room somehow...
- WinstonIV, on 06/13/2009, -0/+1They missed out humans. Whenever I'm ill, I always look to humans for my healing.
