- limezor2, on 10/10/2007, -2/+51I've tried using my left hand. It doesn't feel as good.
- GvnMcCld, on 10/10/2007, -4/+50Title seems incorrect, should be: 10 Simple Tricks To HACK Your Brain Into A Powerful Thinking Machine!
- Arcotik, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29I call it the stranger.
- SilentKnight121, on 10/10/2007, -4/+26LSD.
- cyberwiz01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22Actually it should be:
AMAZING!! 10 EASIEST TIPS FOR HACKING YOUR BRIAN EVAR!!!(HDR PICS) - evanmyers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18"Eat your Brain"
wait, wtf?
"Eat for your Brain"
ah. - Renton, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15With all the grammar nazis around here, at least your English improves.
- melonhedd, on 10/10/2007, -4/+19I GET IT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT MASTURBATION
- iashraf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I LIKES 'EM
- spinjim, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10read a book, read a book, read a MotherF--in book!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=rN2VqFPNS8w - Renton, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Sorry, I guess I didn't see it without refreshing the page.
And it was a Scrubs reference. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10I think every man collectively smirked at that. I sure as ***** did.
- bouche, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Play Brain Age and also follow Dr. Ryuta Kawashima's advice.
- GvnMcCld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8That's a bit too grammatically correct.
- schizogony, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7At least it's not "10 Simple HACKS..."
I'm getting so sick of that word. - Bdog2g2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Wow....that was original, especially since it was posted a few thread up.
If you're gonna steal a line or repeat it, do it on another story. - ubuwalker31, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Learn a new phone number everyday? No thanks. The other advice is excellent though.
- ImYourRealDad, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5No one has mentioned number 8 and 10 yet? Weird. You all DO need to exercise your brains.
- Kugo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6#1 best trick for US residents: leave the country.
- DocHoliday22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I think Digg has the opposite effect. Before Digg I would have taken a visit to Salon.com and BBC.co.uk and just read what I thought was interesting and that's it. Digg just presents random linked news so you can pretty much keep-to-date with current affairs and at least be informed of what's going on around this *****-hole planet of ours. Embrace Digg people... Embrace...
- Renton, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8I call it "The Stranger"
- bluechips23, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Hmm. Apparently, I avoid doing everything that was mentioned there.... No wonder, I am getting dumber day by day.
- dgh1973, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Lame.
I love the "Use your opposite hand bit" - especially the reference to left handers. Obviously not written by a left hander, as any lefty would know that we need to use our right hand a lot with little or no choice. It's a right handed world, and many things are easier when done with the right hand. Try opening your fridge or operating standard scissors with your left hand... it's awkward. - reddikilowatt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"4. Learn Phone Numbers
Our modem phones remember every number that calls them. No one memorizes phone numbers anymore, but it is a great memory Skill. Learn a new phone number everyday."
"Heck, even monkeys can learn 10 numbers! Are you smarter than a monkey?" - wingo123, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4There's a book published by O'Reilly called 'Mind Hacks' that's really good.
- nutmac, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4My brain is already a powerful thinking machine. Let me know when I can turn my ____ into a powerful ____ machine.
- manitoba98xp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"9. Make Lists"
This being an item in a list, that's pretty meta. - Bdog2g2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I agree...that's what my cell phone is for.
- dgh1973, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"I dunno, I've had some pretty smart conversations with people by drinking lots of beer."
Or you just thought they were smart at the time due to the beer. I've solved all the mysteries of the universe with a joint hanging out of my mouth... I just get to stoned to remember them the next day.
(/sarcasm) - kahunaburger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I have a left handed fridge... but I'm right handed. It's the bane of my existance.
- kuujjuaqguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Stop reading "top 10" things on digg Gain +20 IQ points
- asdfuiop, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5I'll crank it left tonight, I guess that'll be doing my brain a favor :D
- christoast, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3Not in the bible belt
- Slackdragon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I don't know about all that, but I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Don't just read a book, ask yourself what the book means. Interpret, criticize, and wrap your mind around the book.
And if its on the New York times best seller list, put it back and get a real book!!! - edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3As am I. Especially when it comes to talking about humans. Humans invented computers - humans are not computers. Thus you should not use the word "hack" in reference to such things as a brain or a life.
- teh_techie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3But, Digg is a variety, which is exactly what the point of this post is about...
- teh_techie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Haven't we all read a page in a book, and get to the end only to discover that you weren't paying any attention to one letter on that page?
- Bdog2g2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Live in some South American Countires, Venezuala, Colombia, and Peru...you'll have a different reason to use your right hand.
Using your left hand is considered to be a sign of the devil, and many Catholic Schools / Parents will tie your left hand behind your back until you can use your right hand perfectly. - edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah, I dunno. I do most of these things already.
- nakile, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6So, does this mean ambidextrous people are smarter than those who have a dominant hand?
- redbone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well, that was a little reassuring. I've been learning a new language lately, and taken up some new hobbies which have required a lot of research and problem solving. Good to know I might actually be keeping my brain from softening into porridge, at least for the time being.
- SaxxonPike, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It's telling me to play "Suduko". What the hell is that?
- tybris, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That's an original look-at-how-smart-I-think-I-am article.
- ThatGeek, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3nope, thats cause you are on digg
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Your left hand feels fine to me.
- Renton, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Not really, it just means neither side of their brain is dominant.
