I find this amazing considering that these system specs fit those of full sized desktops of not that long ago. - borninda818, on 10/12/2007, -6/+38Was that really necessary? Let me be the first of many to digg you down.
- asdfrewq, on 10/12/2007, -8/+39More to the point, is vista capable of anything?
- Alethinos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25One title:
Damn Small Linux - mc7winkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21It's not the size of the boat it's the motion of the ocean. Sheesh.
- aeiou, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22well, for some of us it FEELS like it wasn't too long ago.....
- sachmanb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21the perfect portable linux box -- it beats a live cd!
- djm91, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21whats next? a 1"x1" projector that gives u a 300 foot viewing area?
- AkatsukiNoTobi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Overclock that computer by 2GHz and you got yourself a flaming ball of napalm. :)
- czer323, on 10/12/2007, -11/+26hahahaah, yeah right. Like I'd install vista on anything.
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -7/+21Is anything Vista capable?
- unleashedlive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16duh
- mirathi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13tiny, yellow, nuprin
- unleashedlive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13Tiny XP. Problem solved.
- nolt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7you could play tribes on it
- ajbarnes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6World's smallest? What about the 1.9 x 1.7 inch SBC from Intec Automation. Or the 31 x 31mm DSP from Cambridge, that happens to run twice as fast as the link you are digging.
What exactly are we defining a "PC" to be? What you're looking at is a SBC (Single Board Computer) with limited functionality. By who's definition are you calling this a "PC"? Just curious..
And if you're interested in these small circuit boards with processors, you can find more of them here:

I'm not trying to argue, I just think using the acronym: PC is a little misleading. - nerditup, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6that's more powerful than my ibm aptiva
- NikoKun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I saw this thing a half year ago... its pretty cool... back then i heard it ran linux... and was only available in Japan XD... i want one.
- polo3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6reverse side showing USB2 (2nd port or USB2?) / VGA

- shroom, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10But, is it Vista Capable?
- Vassili84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Cant wait to play crysis on that bad boy!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4ummmm, go get laid
- mc7winkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Where can you buy them though?
- polo3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4slightly bigger picture
http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/pcs/space-cube-in-the-wild-171244.php - BrainInAJar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5But does it run Solaris?
- MikeCerm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This thing won't generate any heat at all. VIA has 1 GHz chips that run fanless. Any heat that this might generate could be dissipated using the case as a heatsink, if necessary.
PSP, Nintendo DS, GP2X, and countless smartphones manage these specs without melting down.
(I know, the processor in the DS is slower, but the Wi-Fi and those screens suck power and generate heat.) - avolant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3one can only hope
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I have a Mac mini.
- czer323, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I usually post a link to duggmirror first so that I can click on it. Though, this little firefox extension saves you the hassle. It adds a duggmirror link to every story, on the front page, and on the main story's page. Check it out: http://duggmirror.com/mirroredbyduggmirror.xpi
- EnzeroX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Umm... a mouse?
- iOsiris, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It MIGHT even run StarCraft. If so props!
- FrostySol, on 10/12/2007, -14/+17ever heard of Linux or BSD or any other OS that's not 90% bloat?
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4hey, serial ports are useful. for, um... wow, i actually can not think of anything that's been useful in the last 10 years.
- Robotsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Another cool non-embedded client that is actually under $100:
http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS6828123924.html
The headline was "Tiny, sub-$100 PC runs Puppy Linux". Looks like a fun device! - PhirePhly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Robotics interfacing? Either that or actually drop money on some kind of USB interface...
- kryptobs2000, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5or an apple fanboy but with a bigger dick
- cyclonesworld, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This thing would make an excellent carputer.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Really, blocked.
- drummerjed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Me too http://mini-itx.com/2004/03/08/a-selection-of-weeny-pcs
- TrueVox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I would think that SOME media player should run on that. It's not that poor of a system. Though, perhaps you might wanna look to Linux rather then Windows. Less bloat if all you're looking to do is play movies.
- towca, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4You should check to see if dugmirror caught it BEFORE posting the link
- kryptobs2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lmao, that's one of the funniest things people have done to make me block them, props.
- damentz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Its obviously vista premium.
- Alethinos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i ran SC on a iMac g3.
Given that the the chips and structure isn't very comparable here are the systems specs:
300mhz g3
256mb ram
ATI old GPU (don't remember the numbers, but it was bad trust me.)
it ran SC perfectly. - Alethinos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I'm fairly certain vista can laugh at people who use it.
well... that's the word on the street... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What are you trying to tell us, come on, out with it.
- 5abi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it will blend
