http://toylounge.stores.yahoo.net/bacontape.html - jmnormand, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7great potential, just need to design it so it doesnt look like a 80s calculator watch...
- larcin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It would be good to auto detect when you are at your computer. I use my phone to alert my PC that I am home. It opens all the programs I want when I get home. Its kinda nerdy but hey its kinda cool.
- Durrok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Only problem with that is you have to leave your bluetooth enabled on your phone which translates to shorter battery life. Very cool if you could wire it to your lights as well though :)
- khalua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The Seiko prototype is about 5,000 times better looking.

make that 50,000 - Xanin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4yes, it opens up quite a few possibilities :)
- vypergts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Great, something else for theaters to ask people to turn off before the movie starts...
/sarcasm - carguy84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3In other news, rectangular wrist cancer on the rise, doctors baffled.
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Dude, what I would talking about? I would totally dig some bluetooth boxers..
- merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A bluetooth watch is "new technology"?
Sounds more like a new, useless combination of old technologies to me.
"I'm honestly asking, what new technology has come out of the USA first?"
The majority of internet technologies, to begin with. That's gotta count for something. - Roger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Cool, but battery life is prolly gonna be crap.
Its gonna get real annoying when you gotta charge your watch once a week. - crashingechelon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A Bluetooth watch would be pretty cool. Since I'm a watch person and geeky at times I would so totally buy it if it came stateside.
- jtrost, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That's a pretty cool watch, but does it tell time?
- mscnln, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15 day battery life?? I've had a timex for 6 years and haven't had to change the battery yet....
- mlkmnz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, a bluetooth watch that tells me my phone is ringing. As if my phone ringing really loudly right next to me wasn't warning enough.
Gotta love technology for technologies sake :P - quanticle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1/*Also if you leave your cell phone behind the Citizen VIRT will notify you. */
How does it do that? Will it be able to distinguish me turning my phone off, and me leaving my phone someplace? - infinium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Finally I can an earpieces and see who's calling without taking my phone out of my backpack. (Also useful for that stupid earpiece design that had the LCD on the earpiece. You had to take it off to see who was calling.)
- deepsub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you should do a thing.
This is a dumb idea.
Now if they put 802.11 or hotspot detector in it, that's different. :D - Scooley01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Incoming calls on your mobile phone are displayed on the Citizen Bluetooth watch. Vibration and light flashing indicate an incoming call. Also if you leave your cell phone behind the Citizen VIRT will notify you. "
That's pretty freakin' neat. I'd buy one if they weren't outrageously expensive. And if I had bluetooth on my cellphone.
On the subject of what it could do, perhaps you could have some sort of password thing set up so that when you were within bluetooth distance of your computer, it would automatically log you in...then you'd just have to worry about your watch being stolen :P - jerk182, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Cool
- chuyskywlk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wonder if it'll warn me when the site i'm looking at is over 80% ads. That'd be nice >:|

- joejibbons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Overuse of technology.....bluetooth tooth brush.... :-)

FREE calls....Any phone, any time, anywhere - rolexwatch22, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I would rather buy one of these watches http://base.google.com/base/search?authorid=2332073
- joejibbons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have a question ?
Why not just make a small/light cell phone that works with voice prompts instead of a bluetooth with LCD?
Joe.. - jchri09, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Well last I checked Microsoft, Apple, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Cisco, Sun, IBM, HP, Dell, and Juniper are all American companies.
Since we educate the world on almost everything I could go on and on for a while.
Judging by your last name gawronski I assume you know nothing about the US and all of the things we invent. - larcin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0You know that is a good Idea I bet I Could make an autoswitch that could do that...
- bndocksnt, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1here, go to the article this was plagarized from : http://www.wristdreams.com/archives/000726.html
- phucku2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Witness their main invention: the xenophobic, arrogant, loud mouthed American.
- jchri09, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Nothing wrong with being a cocky American. When someone slams our country I love to give it back.
Sure we have a loser of a president that lies and authorizes people to spy on us. And he have a country that cares more about Iraq then helping out New Orleans in times of disaster.
But I am still proud with no meekness to be an American. - Yellowone, on 10/12/2007, -19/+5Why?? I mean just why??? I got some bluetooth underwear yesterday...it connect my..oops I better sop now. LOL
