- fuxjoey, on 04/23/2008, -8/+49Seems like you still do need legs in that picture.
- AshamedAmerican, on 04/23/2008, -5/+11I wish I could bury you with a real shovel.
- onionbagel724, on 04/23/2008, -7/+11"who need legs?" I am pretty sure that anyone who would like to use this device would need legs.
- haydesigner, on 04/23/2008, -0/+4I'm guessing that you are being buried for actually giving that "first" idiot the time of day.
- MLisa, on 04/23/2008, -6/+10OMG The 'Thumbs Up' function is out again! Will they ever fix this??
- Lunarbunny, on 04/23/2008, -0/+3Gah, I was going to post this. And stop digging this guy down idiots, it seems you need an education in Wallace & Gromit.
- Murdats, on 04/23/2008, -0/+3boo to those who dont get the reference.
- Murdats, on 04/23/2008, -0/+3well its either because of that or her mind is on the fritz
- chimaera2005, on 04/23/2008, -1/+3bitch.
- eShinn, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Damn you!!!!!!!
- LLLSecretChimp, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Damn that thieving Fritz.
- jamesdew, on 04/23/2008, -1/+1his point was that you still need legs
- eShinn, on 04/23/2008, -1/+1Not to mention the fat-asses that will be wanting to use them. They need something more like the exo-walker from Alien.
- MrFurious2k, on 04/23/2008, -3/+3I'm very enthusiastic about helping the disabled regain mobility. It's exciting to think that we're getting closer and closer to achieving something that may help others regain some quality of life. Kudos to Honda for this work!
- rjc1187, on 04/25/2008, -1/+1The Jap in the pic looks like a freakin scarecrow! He's probably had some work done. I guess it gives new meaning to the phrase "Nip/Tuck".
- Action54, on 04/24/2008, -2/+2Thats Amazing!! All of these huge companies that are doing all this high tech stuff need to start working on stuff that is going to improve the quality of life for people. This is a prime a example of that.
- ep53, on 04/23/2008, -2/+2WTF? One step closeer to becoming paralytics....No wonder people are getting fatter. This seems pretty useless....
- h0zae, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1cant wait for the porn industries "add-ons"
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -10/+9need a video
- r3zonance, on 04/23/2008, -3/+2Not really.
What about people with weak muscles, or any number of muscle wasting diseases that means they are unable to support the weight of their body on their legs alone?
I'm sure there will be numerous useful applications, although I could quite easily see that it would be lapped up some people as it means they don't have to exert much effort to "walk" anywhere. - kprooney, on 04/23/2008, -5/+3it assists the legs, meaing you need legs for it to assist. FAIL title
- inlove, on 04/23/2008, -3/+1I can imagine people walking in a robotic gait in future.
- YodaJones, on 04/23/2008, -3/+1This device will give grandma's all over the world super ninja skills.
- terajoule, on 04/23/2008, -6/+3How much money do these cost? Not cheap, I imagine.
- pukedukem, on 04/23/2008, -6/+3For the poor guy that injured his legs in a Honda Rally car.
- kmattso, on 04/23/2008, -4/+1They need a gas powered version.
- masterm1nd, on 04/23/2008, -4/+1Aww I ***** up the quote. *Risky operation
- Planets, on 04/23/2008, -4/+1I'll keep my legs, thank you.
- Spartycus, on 04/23/2008, -4/+1Naw, cheap operation, you can even do it yourself! They get you with the dealer only repairs!
- notoneofus, on 04/23/2008, -9/+6It's the wrong trousers, and they've gone wrong!
- Spartycus, on 04/23/2008, -9/+5All jokes aside, I think this device would be mainly useful for disabled/elderly people with trouble moving their hip flexors.
Still, I have to wonder about stability... If you're knee gives out, or you trip, I can foresee a rough landing... - samuel514, on 04/23/2008, -5/+1haha so much buried comments, wow crazy digg crowd
- lamiaconfitor, on 04/23/2008, -6/+1thats funny, I am being buried because people disagree?
- NinjaPirateDude, on 04/23/2008, -10/+4people should really read the article....
- killbert24, on 04/23/2008, -8/+2No actually you are third. You fail.
- r3zonance, on 04/23/2008, -9/+3Who needs legs?
Heather Mills - chimaera2005, on 04/23/2008, -11/+5I'm glad Honda is thinking about the future. I know you probably don't care what I think, but nonetheless, I wanted to share it with you.
- lamiaconfitor, on 04/23/2008, -10/+3really that not all that impressive, you could just look at all the submissions the second they were entered, (or make a macro for that matter, but you are probably not that smart.) and be first on all of the submissions. the idea is to contribute something to a dialog, not to be an a**hole.
- deiphobus, on 04/23/2008, -10/+2The title should have been "Who needs to exert effort when walking?". Clearly, you still need legs. :p
pwned. - loudthing, on 04/23/2008, -10/+2Answer: You need legs to use this thing, that's sort of the point.
- ergaurav, on 04/23/2008, -8/+0Soon they'll be launching a flying-assist technology which will make you fly like a bird.
- keyme, on 04/23/2008, -16/+8I didn't know that Li-Ion could pack so much punch in such a small package. I mean, in order to 'help' the average person to walk, you're going to need quite a bit of force from those little engines.
Pretty awesome, anyway. - masterm1nd, on 04/23/2008, -11/+3I'm thinkin about getting metal legs. It's an expensive operation but I think it would be worth it.
- CrankyHippo, on 04/23/2008, -12/+4I wonder what happens when vtec kicks in...
- zzz@tkz, on 04/23/2008, -10/+2I'm pretty fond my legs, I think I'll keep them.
- Shadowgamers, on 04/23/2008, -10/+1And so it begins...
- deeauds, on 04/23/2008, -13/+4sounds awesome, until you have to chase grandma down the street b/c her walk assist is on the fritz
- Marijuana, on 04/23/2008, -10/+1Let's all bury each other, it'll be fun!
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -10/+1In before vtec jokes
- KingGorilla, on 04/23/2008, -12/+2they have walk assist and here I am using my legs unassisted like a sucker
