- AnnaHom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I found the original link:

DigitalGopher seems to have grabbed the description from techeblog as noted at the very end:
http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/lgs-wall-mounted-projector - stenspect, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8How you figure that is SPAM. You diggers need to get off your high horse and except the fact that these guys deserve credit for finding new and innovative products. Your just jealous cause you dont have a blog and cant reap the benefits of hard work.
- mwace, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Trying to imagine this device by means of photos no bigger then a large postage stamp proved to be a very aggrivating challenge. People reading this, if you submit a story about something that looks cool, be sure you find a page that supplies some high resolution photos - this is just lame.
- DerekJ212, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I saw this at CES and it stood out as one of the best products there. Picture quality was very good and its features were unmatched.
- HarrisonBergero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It's not spam, but it is vaporware - the pj has been annouced for well over a year and allegedly "on sale next week" for over 9 months. In addition there are apparently no plans to sell it in the U.S. should it ever be available. It's the Duke Nukem Forever of front projectors.
- gandre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think most projectors will let you change the orientation of the image, for wall mounted or ceiling mounted, and then rear projection for wall mounted or ceiling mounted. At least mine does.
So if you set it for rear projection you get a mirror image projected on the wall, and thus, would only need only mirror. Might be kinda hard to set up though - trevorroth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I didn't really think this was spam more so than a brochure-piece for a new product... it wasn't a link to a "buy me now" page or anything... It was a tibit on a new piece of projection technology. Personally I think the projector is big and ugly... but it was interesting to see that they tried to go in that direction.
Interesting enough. - senfo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I disagree. Besides a tiny link to LG Electronics, this page consists of two small pictures of the projector and a ton of other ads. You can't even find any worthwhile information on the projector besides what he stole from LG's site.
- Emptythought, on 10/12/2007, -0/+225db isn't really quiet, even for a reasonably powerful projector.
a friend of mine has an epson powerlite(light?) that's around 22 or 21, almost completely silent. the noise of this wouldn't be a huge problem if it wasn't marketed as something you display, and not stick in a closet with a hole in the door, etc. - EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dugg, to beautiful not to. Spam or not, she's pretty.
- stokestack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WEB DESIGN RULE #x:
Do not post a thumbnail image that pulls up an image ONE GODDAMNED PERCENT LARGER.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. - mrblogadise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1davidpeele, you'll have a reversed ( or upside-down depending on the orientation) image if you use a mirror, I hope you know this.
- PecanHead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nah - it won't be a problem. I read about a psych experiment where people wore glasses that inverted everything. After watching the screen for about 14 consecutive days his brain will begin to uninvert the image.
- davidpeele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice to see something fresh on the PJ market.
I was happy to stumble across this. This looks so much better than my regular horizontal projector that is mounted with a bracket on the rear wall of my living room.
After seeing this I'm thinking about re-mounting it flat on the wall and using a small mirror to redirect the projection. - thbt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Wow, is it ever fat.
- rm999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use a mirror in my tiny place to increase the projector image area by almost 4 times. All decent (and most low-end) projectors have the option to mirror an image for this exact reason.
- acontorer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The original article plainly states that it is a "one of a kind product." That means it's hand-built and not mass-produced. So we can't buy it.
- pseudojd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12 mirrors.
- spooniep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This has been discussed for about a year on AVS Forum: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=559456&highlight=AN110 Sounds like it's not going to be available in the US any time soon, as it's only 240 volts.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It makes artful use of how and where its used in a typical room. Compared to most other projectors.
- baudbwoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1cool, wireless connectivity would make it a God. But I am imagining the cables running up to it along the wall...ugly. no digg but cool.
- davidpeele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, the PJ lets me change the orientation all around. Don't know if I'll ever do it... but sure wood look better...
- pjevans, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've actually auditioned this projector and it's a beaut. Quiet, good HD (720p native) and plenty of options (e.g. HDCP compatible). Seriously considering it as my HD proj of choice. Really need to see a review though, not a press release.
- Bullsnot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As posted above, most projectors, including the very low end cheap ones include options to flip the image for rear projection.
- davidpeele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1AVS Forum is just simply the best place for any info on this kind of stuff. Always check there first...
- SirVanderhoot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You mean 2 mirrors right? Unless you want a mirror image projection. Which would screw up subtitles and surroud sound.
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2In my opinion, it's hardly art.. It's a shiney box..
But techicaly, it looks nice.. Sounds like it could make too big an image in some cases (I.e in places where you need the projector fairly far back), unless it's adjustable (Which I'm sure it is, but who knows..)
- Ben - Yankees368, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2agreed
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Why Kevin Why?
I also reported this as spam. - chimona, on 10/12/2007, -23/+6unless you link to a review, its just spam. reported.
