http://www.mindspring.com/~gminiatures/p6-L-6w-50k.jpg - testemathews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1James Clar currently is selling his products including the 3D Cube online. For the 3D Pong Lovers you can buy a cube to play or hack it to do whatever else you want.
Check out www.jamesclar.com - Crazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks cool
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very cool, considering he hand-built the thing. Seems like a fun little project. If only it had better resolution, it's really be something.
- otter111a, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its nothing without the sound
Boop beep boop - mailman-zero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool concept, but doesn't impress me.
- ozjmu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I almost failed a class when someone first sent me a link for Curveball, it's so addictive.
- EnzanBlues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not just you. Me too.
- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Turn it on its side, put another "base" so its 2 player and then we can talk.
3d pong would be cool - pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think some people here are simply jealous that they can't create something that cool. Sometimes people make things not because they're the most perfect application of an idea ever, but because it's a start. Did AMD start making their Athlon X2 series processor when they became a company? Nope ... it developed over time. Did they have cars with CD players 100 years ago? nope ... it's a technology that evolved over time. First there were cars .. then set top CD players, then portable CD players, then *car* cd players, then DVDs, then portable DVD players, then *car* DVD players ... are we catching on to a trend here people? I sure hope so, cuz this is basic ...
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Is this even playable? No. The most basic pong in the world is playable. This is pong devolved."
Actually, if you click the link and actually view the video, you can see that it is quite playable. Go on, make me a 3D display better that, oh, and the software to handle it too please. Thanks! - sleazye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0play some 3d pong at ismokecrack.com
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^hahahahah
Is this even playable? No. The most basic pong in the world is playable. This is pong devolved. - pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"to pcgeek101: i understand the concept that technology has to evolve, but this game 'evolved' 25 years ago"
in such a form as that? I think not. I have never before seen it running on a truly 3D display. have you ..? - leadingzero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0to pcgeek101: i understand the concept that technology has to evolve, but this game 'evolved' 25 years ago
- LeeVal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cool idea but dosent look clear

- JooMommy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The DIGG effect has struck again!
- digital.dreamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh no i think his account is now suspended. I think he got too many hits.
- exploretv, on 05/04/2009, -0/+0Very cool. The applications of this technology is wide spread!
- j_bellone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ level 8 so far :(
- fusionnv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man I would request my site to be taken off digg, LOL. I would be broke in 1 hour if it was really cool stuff on it.
- vaporboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oof... digg effect in place!
- dtatom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn, got to it after it got suspended. Shame I can't give it a digg because I can't see it.
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"i think we struck a nerve"
mmmm sure if you'd like to think that, you're entitled to your opinion. I think you're flaming the digg though, just because you're incapable of such an ingenious creation. If it's so easy, why don't you make one? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow
- IceMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Freaking impressive. Anyone that says different is either just stupid of have built far more impressive device but are just keeping them under wraps so everyone else won't get jealous. ;-P
I built a 10x10x1 array a while back and that was a quite a task. That's just 100 LEDs, 1000 is just insane. However, seeing this does make me want to start building another one... - graphicNature, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@spyhunter
damit, i was going to do the same thing. :) - godspeed1074, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What are you guys talking about? this guy is working on the future while using an example from the past. Pong is a simple example, what if his next project was 3d pac-man, or hell, shoot for the moon and make 3d Galaga. That would be awesome. Twenty years from now we might be playing Half-Life 6 in full 3d, and it would be guys like this we will thank.
- Trecherus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0
@spyhunter
