- drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Carlyle Group bought Dunkin Donuts with their defense funds. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/12/12/business/main1119914.shtml?CMP=OTC-RSSFeed&source=RSS&attr=HOME_1119914 They are just tapping into the police systems :) They also bought Lowes Theatres, Lowes, Dr. Pepper all since sept 2001.
- EAMUS1CATULI, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that's funny because mine doesn't clash when i pull up to the drive-thru....they must have some weird system going on. ....we go to dunkin donuts for the coffee, not the donuts ...morons!
- panique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Rivera says the network is spotty and only as fast as a dial-up connection."
Guess they only get ASCII-art porn on their terminals - junkyinny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah but seriously what are the odds of seeing police at dunkin donuts anyways..
- greygoose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I call BS. Sounds like one of those stories made up by local news.
What dunkin doughnuts 'system' are they interfering with? - lordelric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome
- 5blocksfree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not to spoil the party here, but I wonder why news websites (especially those belonging to TV statios) are always so choked with visual clutter. We have some locals here that are the same way...I hardly ever visit them, and if I do it's usually not for much more than a cursory glance at the front page - that's about all I can stand.
- IsraelTorres, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice to see that they figured out by unplugging their communications node - the same one they use to do their job - allows them to get donuts. Way to go.
- Dom02, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thats wicked funny. Of all things for it to interfer with it's dunkin' donuts.
- deusdiabolus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A joke that makes its own gravy.
- igutekunst, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0OMG, thats so funny. LOL ROTFL

- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it sucks how all the ***** ads get in the way of the story. now if only i had a reason to go from opera to firefox...(no, the adblock plugin isnt enough)
- dimatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its funny because its non-ficitonal
- MikeCampo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no it isn't.

Yeah, those darned terrorists! We all know true Americans eat Krispy Kremes and drink Coca Cola.
And goddamn, we should stop hiring pigs for cops. - min_t, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'd sure hate to be the one that dials 911 when 5-0 is doing a donut drive-by.
- mgorbsky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0oh the irony
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Bad cop, no donut

...You see, because cops like donuts... - Dgen_X, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0anyone thinking this 'clash' ISN'T an accident?
maybe the uppers in this police department DON'T want their officers spending too much time at DD - treelovinhippie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0lol do cops in the US actually eat donuts on duty?
