Becuase pics dont load anymore - temporal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41well that guy certainly got his daily allotment of germanium.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+39Because.
- MoneyShot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+34That little "C" after "120" indicates "Celsius"--a more enlighted unit of temperature measurement--which is around 250 degrees F. I generally fry my taters at around 180 C, but I guess 120 would do in a bind. Though, I do prefer mine with sea salt rather than cyanide salts.
- t3hCyborg, on 10/12/2007, -6/+39I don't get why you fools digg down the mirrors. Who cares if you add the full URL or not? Stop being morons.

- DigDugDigger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Some people block their browser from sending referrers in which case DuggMirror won't know which page you want.
- drgruney, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I care that it's the full one. The full one will work for everyone. The short one won't.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Wonder how those fries tasted?
- Jolene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Yeah, you can actually passively cool your system very well with cooking oil. If he had had a larger body of oil and the motherboard was mounted on something that doesn't conduct heat as well (Like a plexiglass case for instance. Instead of a metal pan.) he could have run that thing like any other normally cooled computer.
I vaguely remember a "mod" of someone doing something like this. They made a glass (I think) case and poured in something like 15-20 gallons of oil and it ran fine. They had to take off the fan from the graphics card and didn't have a CPU fan and the whole thing was cooled really well. If anyone knows the mod I'm talking about, post a link would ya? - matt0baba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12"HEALTH WARNING way contain traces of Lead, Germanium, Mercury And/Or other Heavy and radioactive metals. - titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Nah, it was probably ToxicFryInfector32.exe still on the Windows 98 HD.
- geminitojanus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8"If he ate those fries he's a dead man walking."
Contrary to popular belief, you'd have to eat a lot more lead, cadmium, germanium and other trace metals to be poisoned than what's going to come off of a motherboard at 120C, into a 9L vat of oil and then impregnate a handful of fries.
Now, eating that diet every day for a year might not be a wise idea, but a one-time occurrence isn't going to even phase your system. - ImperatorTerrae, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah, invite all the people you hate, a lot. Feed them the fries. Now that's a party...
- ericnmu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8you must be thinking of doom 3. Q3 is older than the hills. I still have the box for it, its about size of a pizza box.
- Brennan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Dude, that's like what we were running when Quake 3 came out.
- bbear, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Did this dumbass really eat those fries?
Did the lead poisoning from the motherboard soldering add a nice flavor? How about the cancer from the melted PVC wire insulation? Did the motherboard have a lithium battery installed? If he ate those fries he's a dead man walking. - kman2k1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You guys are right. 233 Mhz P2 is the minimum requirement for Quake 3.
Time sure flies. - razei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Buy Tempura Batter Online

- kman2k1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm surprised Quake 3 is playable on a 266 Mhz Pentium II.

- Geekbeard, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Something just seems myocardial infarctionally wrong about frying pre-fab chips (which are already cooked in oil).
