stevejobsisthekingandwelovehimsomuch
And then you get to pay Apple 500$. - Nephersir7, on 06/10/2009, -7/+478The Pre just became even more awesome
- conkeso, on 06/10/2009, -6/+230every year
- UbIwerks, on 06/10/2009, -2/+213So badass.
- thelastcivilian, on 06/10/2009, -1/+188The key to any platform is the developers.
Leaking the ROM, enabling dev mode through a videogame cheat? Somehow I don't think Palm is too upset about any of it. - dekuscrub, on 06/10/2009, -1/+156It's pretty sweet that everyone who grew up in the Nintendo generation is now programming phones.
- inactive, on 06/10/2009, -2/+144This extends your contract to 30 years.
- IMustBeEmo, on 06/10/2009, -6/+145You calling me a bastart?
- TheWilder, on 06/10/2009, -6/+139The Palm Pre just gained some more cool points.
- Hodr, on 06/10/2009, -5/+135You know what I always liked about the Konami code? You could tell if someone had friends by the way they recited it, with the all important "SELECT" before the start button.
- danwallace, on 06/10/2009, -0/+84I don't know why you're being buried. Pressing "SELECT" moved it to 2-player.
- AdmiralAcbar, on 06/10/2009, -1/+84Developers, developers, developers, developers.
- RealmDown, on 06/10/2009, -1/+65Well, if the code fits....
- TheNik, on 06/10/2009, -3/+48It's ironic that you trolled the Pre but capitalized it as a proper noun and didn't do the same with spelling "iPhone."
Also shut up. - inactive, on 06/10/2009, -5/+42The it automatically resigns your contract for another year.
- nmezib, on 06/10/2009, -0/+36forever.
- thelastcivilian, on 06/10/2009, -3/+37Remember when the iPhone came out, and it didn't even have enough apps to fill the home screen? (...because they didn't have an app store back then -- the SDK was only released about a year after the iPhone hit the market... remember that?)
Well, now it's got 49,900 stupid fart apps, and 100 good ones. - EvanDorn, on 06/10/2009, -1/+35I should have waited a couple of months for the Palm Pre instead of getting my BlackBerry Curve 8330. Palm Pre really looks amazing.
- XFi6, on 06/10/2009, -1/+33Five hundred dollar signs. You cut 'em out and mail them to Steve Jobs.
- Dylson, on 06/10/2009, -1/+33and ever.
- geoboy, on 06/11/2009, -0/+30amen.
- SystemicThought, on 06/10/2009, -1/+30Right. That one. I guess I karried over the gratuitous use of the letter k as is kommon in many klassic kartridge games like Mortal Kombat and Mario Kart, as well as many other kool titles.
- kefkaantakrist, on 06/10/2009, -1/+26I have alerted the CEO. He will be in touch with you in 3 minutes and 13 seconds to begin the negotiations.
Allow me to express to you that the entire organization is determined to make a deal with you, and if there is anything - ANYTHING - we can do for you, just let me know. - alarchy, on 06/10/2009, -0/+24*Contra

- EllimistX, on 06/10/2009, -0/+22idkmbffjill?
- jdames1980, on 06/10/2009, -0/+22Everyone huh.
- bigtuna47, on 06/10/2009, -1/+22Can trolls not spell anymore?
- Th3Wh1teRabb1t, on 06/10/2009, -0/+21Yell Developers! Developers! Developers! ?
- UselessTrivia, on 06/10/2009, -2/+21It's "b a select start" if you want to play with two players though. Does the Pre have a co-op mode?
- paross2, on 06/10/2009, -0/+18Then don't say anything.
- vtnerd, on 06/10/2009, -2/+20Correction: "...the iPhone would still be better if it was on a better network..."
- mattearle, on 06/10/2009, -1/+19The Palm Pre just succeeded with its viral marketing campaign.
- Chakat, on 06/10/2009, -0/+17You're missing the tens of thousands of palm apps written over the years that work on the palm pre's emulator, for one.
- Syugo, on 06/10/2009, -3/+20cool story bro
- Mizzike, on 06/10/2009, -2/+19***** that *****, I want some competition up in this bitch. I'm an original iPhone owner (haven't and won't be upgrading until the version after this comes out), and I want better service/phone at lower prices. That'll only happen with competition.
- Jhonka, on 06/10/2009, -0/+16THE OP DIDNT MENTION APPLE
please remove your panties from their respective bunches. - Anand999, on 06/10/2009, -2/+18So, in about 10 years, we'll start seeing "iddqd" as the predominant easter egg code?
- FreddieD, on 06/10/2009, -1/+17http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6ZarKIKpSA
(I do not rick roll..) - SystemicThought, on 06/10/2009, -6/+21*Boots up Kantra rom*
*Dies* - lintmonkey, on 06/10/2009, -0/+14That's actually a feature.
- jjesusfreak01, on 06/10/2009, -1/+15Back on the old PalmOS, the original systems ran 68k code, but when OS5 was released, the systems began running on ARM hardware running on over an emulator layer. Devs could use armlets, which were snippets of ARM code added into a 68k program. At some point, a few developers realized that the system could run native ARM code if one knew how to code it, and it was from this point that the high end games and lower level system software was released. Palm has always lived on the strength of its developers, and has rarely done anything to stop innovation on its systems, unlike Apple.
- damnshoes, on 06/10/2009, -0/+13Klingons!!!
- insertAliasHere, on 06/10/2009, -3/+15As to the physical/virtual keyboard debate, it's totally a matter of opinion and implementation. I, for one, prefer the iPhone's keyboard, but only because their predictive text software is great (predicting based on keys near the ones you've already pressed, not just trying to complete your word). If it were missing that, I would get a phone with a physical keyboard.
Calling people retarded for preferring one over the other is itself retarded.
Also, obvious troll (iOSX) is obvious, people. What the ***** is up with people feeding the trolls lately? - Balanced, on 06/10/2009, -2/+14It's art, made with bass. You know, fish.
- coldzero, on 06/10/2009, -3/+15wow lol you apple fan boys, u guys would pay money to sniff Steve Jobs ***** if it was an option. Oh yea last time i checked the Pre had a physical keyboard which the iPhone does not.
- IMustBeEmo, on 06/10/2009, -4/+15This "shiny turd" can copy and paste. Name 18 iPhone apps that are actually useful... gg
- Junkyarddawg, on 06/10/2009, -0/+11So to sum things up, this cheat enables Developer Mode, which allows you to run Developer Mode. So you can Develop. A mode. Sort of thing.
- Bainemo, on 06/10/2009, -0/+11Only if you just read Hodr's comment and now you think that saying that makes you appear popular
- Snakedal337, on 06/10/2009, -1/+12your very own gamespot.
Keep them away from me, even if they have the konami code. -
