- jay314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah.. they're still going to need a power source, so there's still going to be wires anyway. And "adaptive channel hopping" or not, they'll probably be susceptible to interference.
- almostmanda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1until i can throw away power cables, they won't be "wireless".
- CaptSnuffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i have the z-5500s already :)
- Dropscience, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the z5500's are alot better then these...but I am happy with my z3500e's which probably are better then these wirelesses also
- stevey5036, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im dying for these, but im not gonna drop 500 bucks for it.
- crash331, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wireless speakers = teh suck
- JASPER200, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not a bad idea. Can't figure out if the speakers run on batteries although I am assuming they do. The price is also way steep. so far nothing compares to the sound quality of the klipsch 2.1 THX certified. All others sound like
speakers in a pringles can - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nice little price tag on these babies though, personally I dont think tis a great idea
- Dan005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmm, no thanks. My z-5500 are better.
- dtatom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder if all this background radiation in the 2.4 GHz range is rotting our brains or something. There is only so much bandwidth, and one of the older wireless phones will take it all. That would be hilarious, mid way though a movie the phone rings and your back two speakers stop working. Or better yet they start broadcasting the phone call.
- moocow85, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've had the idea to do some sort of wireless setup for surround speakers...I'm one that hates wires running everywhere and the daunting chore of hiding wires under baseboards or fishing them through the walls don't appeal to most people. The problem is interference and sound quality...its an amazing idea...if they haven't cheaped out on those two points, but for the pricetag, you would hope they didn't.
- Napalm05, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The link to the actual speakers

- thinkfrank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wonder if they will interfere with WiFi
- wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Price = $500. Choke. And, as pointed out, they still need power. I'll stick with my 2.1 setup for now.
- Kashey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Get a pair of studio referance monitors for the same price and you'll never buy any of those plastic cans anymore.
- DeadPenguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great another thing in my house on 2.4Ghz. I think I will buy the gigaworks s750 instead.
- deviationer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'll be stick with my Z5500.
- digg3r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is a dupe (but only by 50min). http://digg.com/hardware/Logitech_Delivers_5.1_Surround_Sound_Without_the_Cables
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0@ 499.99 USD the Z5500 would be a more realistic choice
