- evilesttoast, on 10/29/2008, -0/+95Cable management is beautiful to me.
- hdadeathly, on 10/29/2008, -1/+39Jesus...
I can't even tidy up the few wires under my desk right now... - Bronnster, on 10/28/2008, -2/+38Nice work cleaning that up. Some downtime and a few velcro strips..
- vroom101, on 10/29/2008, -1/+34Courageous . . .

- FatLoser, on 10/29/2008, -1/+19reminds me of my job, except with squirrels
- dumline, on 10/29/2008, -0/+17They have a lot of cables at Burger King?
- pstroll, on 10/29/2008, -2/+14I still don't understand why Voltron was only equipped with a sword?? Nice for ceremony but pretty lame as a primary weapon.
- Brassbud, on 10/29/2008, -0/+9holy *****
- dha07030, on 10/29/2008, -9/+17I was going to say how unremarkable this was but hey it's better than the political crap.
- fletchsd, on 10/29/2008, -0/+7Looks good but you should always cable Cat 4500's and 6500's from the right side. If you lose the fan module you are unplugging all those cables that come in from the left side.
- Brak710101, on 10/29/2008, -1/+7wut
- aznpwnzor, on 10/29/2008, -0/+6deja vu anyone?
- limpits, on 10/29/2008, -0/+6I had to digg that for some reason...
- Valyn, on 10/29/2008, -0/+4Nothing of this scale, but i enjoy showing off the inside of my PC because of the cable tidiness.
- nikayla, on 10/29/2008, -1/+5I'd say the layer one folks should be fired for doing that in the first place. Organization isn't just for being "pretty" - it's FUNCTIONAL NECESSITY. Any engineer would realize that you can't replace modules with that mess blocking them. But seriously - I've seen 10x worse than this cleaned up. Unimpressive, and shouldn't have been a problem to begin with.
- aznpwnzor, on 10/29/2008, -2/+5that pic makes the original pic look like the back of a fanboi's imac
real men don't organize cables! - superfusion, on 10/29/2008, -3/+6I'd like to lay some cable.
- ophello, on 10/29/2008, -3/+6Tangled cables on digg. So original.
You should shoot yourself for submitting the 206th cable-related photo to digg. - Valyn, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2He's almost worth digging up, just so others will so how much failure is there.
- bassman12593, on 10/29/2008, -1/+3I wish my school's server room was as clean and tidy as that one.
- chaoswings, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2The kind of audience that watches Oprah would not be interested in this.
- skyshock1, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2#2 is fantastic, but #1 is unnecessarily zip-tied. What happens when you have to add/change a cable in that structure?
- Squigy, on 10/29/2008, -1/+3I wonder what this guys could do with my bedroom...
- fattony89, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2good work
- MrCoke, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2and you stole that from flickr comments
- teh_spazz, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2Something deep within me is pleased.
- dlite922, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2Is it bad to get a little turned on by these?
- joank, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2are you sure it's related to this topic? :)
- Brassbud, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2Ahh forsight, such a rarity nowadays.
- Kajman, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2the before picture looks like the internet just threw up everywhere.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1Yes
- joank, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1I don't know Voltron, but I diggit anyway.
- inactive, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Do you have patch panels, catalyst switches and patch panel cables?
- BOFH139, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Only if each cable is labelled, one of the UK tech re-wired a patch panel on my site while waiting on the switch to be configured. The job he did look nice but he did not label ANY of the cables and did not connect port 1 on patch to port 1 on the switch so it was a bitch when a cable needed to be changed or moved.
- malpractice2, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1It was not stolen! People link to my flickr images all the time from blogs and forums without permission, including this digg link. I expect no less, after all it's openly posted on the internet. I don't like being accused of stealing however!
- inactive, on 10/29/2008, -1/+2...it's because you're lazy, filthy and plain sloppy.
- itsthehumidity, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Hey I like it, new wallpaper!
- Pother, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Now its not always "lazy"...
1.) Keeping the cables untrimmed is sometimes just "fear" that you might need that extra foot or five when you end up having to move the rack. Kind of like at my current job. Predecessors cut everything coming out of the ceiling taught to the panel. Panel ought to be moved to the other side of the wall but can't; no slack.
2.) Keeping the panel and its patch cables neat may just not be a "priority", ever. As this gentleman clearly demonstrated, it was not a priority initially. He however made it one sooner than later. - inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1WOW
- leerayIG88, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1*****.... +1 digg to negative -59.
- Navicerts, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Looks like velcro actually.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1You stole that comment, didn't you?
- arch3r, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Little tubes actually. A whole series of them.
- BerryChill, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1It looks like Monk was in here...
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1Nope zips
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1still looks a mess.
- H3llr41s3r, on 10/29/2008, -1/+2I wish i could do that with my life problems.
