HP notebook problems and a "Total Care" experience

My friend did the same thing, and his unfortunate adventure with "Total Care" has begun :) You should read the emails sent and received, especially if you are likely to buy a new notebook.

    I was just thinking of buying a HP Pavilion. It's good i saw this. After reading this, i googled for some more comments on HP and saw many complaints like this.. I guess i'll reconsider my choice of brand...

    Every computer can come with factory defects, regardless its brand and model. What makes a brand "reliable" is what they do after they face these kinds of problems they cause. Well, if it took more than few months to decide how to support their customers and handle the case, its not "supporting" at all...
