- wware, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1For those of us who've had a long-standing interest in advanced nanotechnology, this is exciting stuff. I'm old enough now to worry about whether I'll live to see the benefits. To see that this has become a focus for a lot of smart people with access to resources is very rewarding. The report is in two PDF parts, about 200 pages each, and they make me wish I could read a lot faster. There is some really brilliant work going on these days. I have the privilege of knowing a few of the people involved, and they're the kind of people you hope will work on this stuff: very bright, and forces for good in the universe.
The project has been organized and led by Battelle (www.battelle.org) which also runs some of the national labs. Presumably Battelle will also be posting something about the Roadmap project soon. - crokinole, on 12/12/2007, -0/+0Go go molecular nanotechnology!!
