- PC13, on 11/09/2008, -0/+0Fantastic article. very well researched. Just 1 question - Which of the PCI Express slots were used to install the 2 Radeon 4870X2 Cards as if a card is installed in the top slot, one cannot install the Audio card. Please confirm
- ByteBurner, on 11/23/2008, -0/+0One letter and two words. I LOVE Guru3D !!!!
But since i7-965 is too expensive as your first rig or to upgrade to, and since i7-920 with $300 is respected alternative way to test the power of Nehalem processors and x58 chipset along with DDR3 performance, I think a benchmark of the i7-920 is needed so badly. and we would love to see it overclocked to the edge of the cliff (steps do not matter that much though). a final result would be sufficient. This way our "sigh",after reading the whole article, won't be that laud, cuz there would be a hope.
and Hilbert, really thanks, what a tremendous article !!!! - MartinPrenger, on 12/21/2008, -0/+0A very good article (***** of work though). The Highend afficionado in me loves the madness, and the Scientist in me values the accurate comparisons and experimental setup.
Respect ! - guru3d, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0At the request of our readers this article has been updated, now with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9770 Extreme results in there as well.
- Fiala06, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0I cant wait to get one!!!!

- Sn4k3y3s, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0Really Great but should read the Nehalem review posted on the first page, Great review from Guru3D
- hwarda, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0An extensive yet great report.
Worth every digg for those looking for some illustrations of what they can get from high-end hardware just steps away in frontdoor.
...for gaming off course...
GREAT READ.
