    Because a large case + fan + more energy isn't going to make Safari open any faster. Apple is one of the first companies to realize that mobile processors meet the needs of the user better in many situations.

You would have been better off getting a MacBook for $945.00(apples site) and going to egghead.com and spending 160.00 on 2 gb of memory, then you would of at-least had a real system not some crap that is already worth less then 1000.00 on ebay. And don't give me non of that core 2 is better crap. ITs only marginally better performance.
