- spyhunter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, the Linux one is cooler.

(I'm actually being serious) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Add a bluetooth keyboard, mouse and headset and you've got something.
- FunkyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0damn thats small
- Braddeharder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder when we will see things like this enter the office world at a good price?
- sufferingant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"only 64mb storage? whats the point?"
It's called a thin client for a reason. You have a server, which processes all of the information you tell it to remotely via this wall-mounted pc. All the wall-mounted pc does is displays it on your screen. It's a very old concept... - dougieb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Another article... same topic: http://www.gadgetell.com/entry/38
- Pureeviljester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's awesome! I like the Israeli one more, it looks cooler.
- sbasund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0only 64mb storage? whats the point?
- rocjoe71, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, great idea. They should sell them in sets of 5-10 as a home installation kit. It would be like having a PC in every room.
"Hhey Bob, you'll never guess where I'm IM-ing you from..." - pseudojd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if this is a legit product I could see it invading offices with ms terminal server. I build networks for a living and this might be the future. With ms terminal services you can completely con troll the user experience. it could go many ways obviously.

vaporware - baltakatei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks cheap. Which is good. Throw in a few easily replacable 1 GB flash cards into the specs and you'd have yourself a redundant data storage network. I can see this sort of device going places.
- borderpatrol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would have to have a linux one to use it.
- doddilus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ network storage, its meant for the office
- doddilus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very sweet, i digg it
- KyleKaplan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i agree with rocjoe71 i would so buy like 5 of these for my house, think of the possibilities, but to agree with rtphokie it would have to have bluetooth
With the advent of these new LCD's with DVI you could have a computer in every room that has a LCD with only a need for a keyboard and mouse, bluetooth easily solves this problem
this could be a great alternative to those expensive media center PC's - zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow...that's thin.
- holiday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is Rad... just think ten years from now... Holy Crap I need a little alone time!
- terafunker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Israelis sure seem to be making a big name for themselves in the tech world of late. Still, I really hate thin clients. With laptops and mini desktops reducing in size and price, I'd rather just have a computer in each room, and a laptop for the interim.
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks like a solution that would work well with that remote client cluster that lenova was retailing. I would love to see computers move this way.. just have a central server (even in the house) and then have thin clients everywhere that way you could disconnect from one place and just move it to another place if you needed too
- sporkman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My Doctor's office uses something like this already... this stuff already exists, I think it's kinda cool, just not many people know about it.
- nugget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks very promising.
- nerdbaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Found your problem right here
TFA
"Local Web browser -- IE 6.0" - hoyo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes! I want one of these in every room of my house and one big server hidden under the stairs.
- zforrester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is the future.... computer power built into walls, furniture.... this is where it begins
- Fezzik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is outstanding (If true) especially for an office environment.
Pair it with a beefy terminal server and you can save your company thousands of dollars (if the price is comparable to other thin clients out there). - troydoogle7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its a hoax, or a pipe dream whichever you prefer.... Nice thinking though
- RMuffin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's just sweet, I'd rig my house with those in a heartbeat if I could get a Server.
- marmaduke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0We have stuff like this at our school and its really *****.
- pdlevin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If this thing does nothing but browse the webit's still really useful... think of all the public places that now have WI-FI that could also get some of these and a few monitors and then I wouldnt have to lug my laptop to starbucks to browse digg.com, i could just use these
- chrome0011, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, but can I play FEAR with it? Didn't think so... =P
- kubedawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0helll yeah! thats awesome. a new completely innovative idea. this guy needs to give this to microsoft or apple and make some friggin money on it. if it's linux based, hardly anyone will use it in the future because linux has such a small piece of the pie, it's unfathomable to have linux run on it right now...
- vertigoblue, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0ill digg it
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i killed the page... refreshed and it didnt come up again!
- dotuplink, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0dude thats a fake...
- barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0...
- ahmerhussain, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0pureeviljester you damn jew why are you a digg mamber and support M$ and not free open-source software?
The Linux one is DEFINENTLY BETTER I hate everything from Isreal. That includes Dells, Intels and many other things. Those damn jews stole other peoples land and homes.
