- returnkey, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0The idea seems great. I would, however, never go for something based around the Microsoft Media Center concept and OS. I think it would be a much better idea just to use a standard OS with 802.11g, a good sound card, a video card with DVI-out (capable of at least 720p) and a wireless keyboard+mouse combo. The whole thing seems much more possible now that DVD is the standard for video and HD allows television to handle resolutions similiar to that of a computer monitor (so the whole thing doesn't look like a bloated 640x480!). Gratis, the people behind free ipods, now offer free LCD monitors and TVs: Who would waste their time trying to pose as someone else? It seems to me a waste of effort for some traffic.
