- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lame. not digging because this seems more like an advertisment for this than just showing it off.
- shocktech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yeah, and you cant even buy one unless your in the UK or japan...
- astrosmash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Why does anything with 'iPod' in the name make it to the front page?"
Because everyone who's anyone owns an iPod. - jseraf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1now available here:
http://www.switcheasy.com/Special_Buy.htm - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Why does anything with "iPod" in the name make it to the front page? Honestly...
- streetstealth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Um... It wouldn't use a material similar to the Transitions coating, as there isn't actually any opacity change. It's just tinted, so you can only see the backlit image and not the details around it.
It's like how you can't see Arnold's eyes when he's wearing shades, but when he's the terminator, the red light comes through. - JRMillion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Speck makes a similar case for the 5G iPod (and nano)
http://www.speckproducts.com/vid-seethru.html - Midnightbrewer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@JimExplore et al: It says right on their web page that they make the case out of a super-hard resin (as used by the astronauts in their helmets) to prevent scratches, therefore not the same material as the iPod.
- dreadlock7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"duo toned plastics for great fashion touch"
- wow....so very descriptive. I wish computer had a "great fashion touch"
"Hand strap and lanyard ready"
- sounds like 'Internet ready'. It's just a damn case! Not a computer peripheral!

- liveinabin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Um, this case is made of polycarbonate. While polycarbonate is pretty impact resistant, it is incredibly easy to scratch. So, this might keep the scratches from your Nano, but it'll look like ass while it's doing it.
- jamester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Invisible Shield does it for me.
- ashienw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet!
- Dredog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0gonna scratch real easy
- jseraf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i got an email from them today saying they'll be available via the site within the next two days...
- Derfwins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It is very nice, would be a lot nicer if you could buy it in the USA :/
- oddball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0+SPAM, just an add for some ***** we can't buy, mod it off the front page!
- Chuckster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is what the Nano should have looked like in the first place!
- vashspike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty lookin' case I dig the tinted plastic face.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll stick with my invisible shield.
- fudgebrown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Me Grimlock likes it...
- LazyBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yes. very cool but looks but its not so nano anymore.
- leftfoot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like it uses the same kind of lens as the Transition Glasses, which suck, and tend to stay tinted after a period of time.
- davdav, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Whats with the tinted situation?
- Batmanguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0NICE!!!
- SpacemanSpiff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You started the post with "dude"
no digg - Nobiru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I assume a white nano would look exactly the same in this case correct? its not as if the whole case is tinted....
the only bits showing should be the wheel (which you get stickes to cover it anyway) and the screen (which obviously doesnt varry from the Black Nano to the White Nano).
mostly a stupid question, but figured id ask :P
cool case though, i really dont care if its as scratchable as the nano....i just want it to stop my nano from being scratched :P - CorpT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That'd be cool if I could buy one.
- daveb123, on 03/04/2008, -0/+0Look here for many cell phone cases http://www.hifivillage.com
- mushoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow really nice, makes want to get a nano to replace my old 2g
- SyDIGG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Typical Apple product: You need a third-party add-on to prevent it from self-destructing. Just like the PowerBook screens that smash against the keyboard when you close them, so everyone had to buy stupid pads to carry around inside their computers."
Well because people actually adore Apple products and want to protect them? I am sure you could care less about getting scratches on other products such as your cellphone. If you make a product the consumers cherish and want to protect, then are you doing something right. I don't see Hyundai owners buying car body covers. Like it or not, iPods are emotional attachments to some owners ...thus iPod accessories are going off the shelves as much as iPods. - molecool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Okay, I about had it - we need some syntax here to properly quote people.
- Snyder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The case looks very high quality, smooth and sleek. Just like the iPod.
God damnit. Now I'm gonna need a case for my case in order to keep my case from scratching! The lust for a flawless iPod now lives on in it's accessories. - JimExplore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0what is the point in having a case for your nano that is made out of pretty much the same material as the player istelf and will get scratched exactly the same as the nano. the end result?: a scratched up, no where near as sexy, not-so-nano ipod nano. no digg.
- jhennig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If i had a nano, this would be the case I'd get... too bad they don't make cases like this for more devices. I'd buy one for my Pocket PC.
- Rawksteadi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0check out this nano case... www.exopod.net (under products)
- molecool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Typical Apple product: You need a third-party add-on to prevent it from self-destructing. Just like the PowerBook screens that smash against the keyboard when you close them, so everyone had to buy stupid pads to carry around inside their computers.
Sad.
As much as I love Apple I must admit - the guy has a point. - au071, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad it's not available in the U.S.
- lukas88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if it wasn't such a POS you wouldn't need a case!!!
spoken like a true ipod owner wannabe.... - sishgupta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cinder6: "Why does anything with "iPod" in the name make it to the front page? Honestly..."
cuz everyone has one and that means its interesting to many people. or if they dont have one...they want one.
and if you dont want one your kinda dumb. I used to be super against the ipod, but ive used so many other mp3 players and audio players and nothing compares to the 5g. Nothing. - reco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1he guys, try PodDress http://www.poddress.com
- macophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0As far as Nano cases go, my vote is with the Orbino handstitched:
http://www.orbino.com/store/index.php?cPath=77_78
They even have one in real snakeskin! - radon1818, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It needs to have armband capability.
- myboot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What about the black one with "tinted" screen? Does that mean my screen is now opaque or so dark I can't see it? Even the pictures on the website seem to imply opaque.
- Rousterfar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks great but does it have a belt clip on the back, or one as an add-on? If not, will I have to buy a 2nd case to put this case in so I can wear my iPod Nano while I work-out or go jogging?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0niceeee
- Braamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Falls into the same category as cell phone ringtones, and big shiny wheels for your car.
Ipods are functional, with included asthetic appeal. Unless the accessory extends the device functionality, you are just trying to proove how cool your are by purchasing it. - DrObviousNP23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0where can we get one?
- VelvetNightmare, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That IS awesome! I just got my girlfriend a nano for christmas, she'd flip over this! +digg
