- Lane, on 12/26/2007, -3/+323if it was a 22 inch and this was the year 1500 it would be a fine shield.
- arcooke, on 12/26/2007, -3/+254That's definitely impressive, but this technology would be better suited on mobile devices. Desktop LCDs sit on your desk and rarely ever get touched. People drop/sit on/step on/shoot arrows at their handhelds all the time. Show me an MP3 player that can survive an crossbow and I'll really be impressed.
- futureisours, on 12/26/2007, -10/+232bah how much damage do those crowsbows make? like 1d6? big whoop!
- InkyHLV, on 12/26/2007, -4/+209finally! If those goddamn archers brake another one of my screens I don't know what I'll do
- inferno10, on 12/26/2007, -1/+134Now he just needs to throw his Wii-mote at the monitor before I'm sold.
- punx777, on 12/26/2007, -0/+112I'm so sick of getting crossbows stuck in my monitors.
- jordanau, on 12/26/2007, -15/+119I should try that. I am a pretty good shot. I used to bullseye womp rats in my t-16 back home.
- johnmalc, on 12/26/2007, -1/+105Finally, something that has been Nintendo Wii-proofed.
- HornyFox, on 12/26/2007, -1/+84With porn on screen to destabilize the enemy.
- hadessniper, on 12/26/2007, -7/+86Aw it might survive a crossbow attack, but will it blend?
- iamdan1, on 12/26/2007, -2/+65I totally agree. I get attacked by crossbows all the time! People just pop out of nowhere and start shooting. I have gone through 3 or 4 cell phones already after using them as shields!
- Turambar, on 12/26/2007, -3/+65that's 1d10, actually.
- dotlizard, on 12/26/2007, -0/+60ok sure it does well against pointed sticks. how would it fare against a banana?
- Jerk, on 12/26/2007, -2/+58Not everyone has to pay to have friends.
- toaday, on 12/26/2007, -0/+53It moved when he touched himself?? Wow, I'm glad my monitor's not like that, it would be falling over fall over all the time.
- loves2spooge, on 12/26/2007, -1/+53I would totally pay to see a load of Asus workers recreating the "arrows blotting out the sun" scene from 300....
- jtbandes, on 12/26/2007, -1/+52Dirty ass-hands?
- banmaster, on 12/26/2007, -4/+54You shot small animals for fun? Isn't that the first sign of a psychopath??
- mstrebe, on 12/26/2007, -2/+40I've got a modern compound crossbow that can put a bolt through a 9" pine. So that's like what, 2d8+4 vs. conifers.
- jgtg32a, on 12/26/2007, -0/+37Was it a diamond ring?
there is the whole hardness thing where a diamond can scratch basically anything - mcsia, on 12/26/2007, -4/+39http://xkcd.com/37/
- fkr3, on 12/26/2007, -0/+34What protection do you think your anus offers you from a crossbow?
- airencracken, on 12/26/2007, -1/+32He should have attacked its weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!
- HornyFox, on 12/26/2007, -0/+30Do what most people do with social problems : nothing.
- inactive, on 12/26/2007, -1/+31You're mistaken. Dragonforce is the hardest.
- KingGorilla, on 12/26/2007, -0/+27Let's keep this bastard at 0!
- GeckoSlayer, on 12/26/2007, -0/+27*****, I thought I was the only one.
- airencracken, on 12/26/2007, -0/+23Are you sure you can hit the computer?
Did the shot go in? Negative, negative, it just bounced off the monitor. - jerstud56, on 12/26/2007, -1/+23well said sir. I was thinking the same thing about the monitor being touched. People put their dirty ass hands all over them, but who throws ***** at it?
- barroni, on 12/26/2007, -0/+21http://foxtrot.com.ua/ is a Ukraine website I want to see them shot it with a Kalashnikov
- DeFex, on 12/26/2007, -0/+21It is designed for those bad tempered Russian programmers.
- chrisbarr, on 12/26/2007, -1/+22Really? You weren't impressed that the monitor can withstand even a 20 pound force direct hit with a pointed object?
- inactive, on 12/26/2007, -5/+25I think it is a lame crossbow. I would take my old Jennings compound bow against it with graphite shaft arrows and put a dent in it....either that or it would ricochet back and kill me.
- 3lijah, on 12/26/2007, -0/+19I have an ASUS laptop, can I expect the same results? I'm not willing to test it myself.
- airencracken, on 12/26/2007, -0/+19+10 Monitor of shielding.
- inactive, on 12/26/2007, -1/+20YES. definitely.
- MasterInsan0, on 12/26/2007, -0/+19Horribly. Everyone knows the potassium eats right through the screen.
- Veni_Vidi_Vici, on 12/26/2007, -3/+22I would like to point out that diamond is not a metal, though I'll probably get dugg down for it.
- Klarth, on 12/26/2007, -2/+20Go to hell.
- Spikeli27, on 12/26/2007, -2/+20lol! i didnt misread but its funny! i bet thats why you clicked
- MWeather, on 12/26/2007, -1/+19One can only hope.
- bluetytanium, on 12/26/2007, -4/+22Diamond; the hardest metal known to man.
- dotlizard, on 12/26/2007, -1/+19probably, yeah. freudian much?
- MalDON, on 12/26/2007, -0/+17I thought it was crowbar for a sec. I think that would have been pretty entertaining to see Gordon beat the ***** out of a monitor.
- Neorio, on 12/26/2007, -0/+17Taking "First person shooting" games a little too literally.
- toaday, on 12/26/2007, -2/+18You fail at being dugg down. Lucky you.
- Apoc, on 12/26/2007, -2/+18The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
- jtbandes, on 12/26/2007, -0/+16My guess is no.
- rye425, on 12/26/2007, -1/+17I hate to commit treason too, but so was my avatar 4 days before you joined.
- treed, on 12/26/2007, -0/+16When I was like 12, my mom's boyfriend threw a spear through the bedroom door.
