- adcat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16The real question should be whether or not his on-course performance will affect his parenting.
- Haasmosis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Try and focus on a birdie put when you're wife is calling you to pick up diapers and formula on the way home from work.
- alsowoldguy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Well, the things that can impact you as a new father: 1 - Lack of sleep 2 - Learning all the new ins and outs of being a Dad 3 - Worrying about your new kid and responsibility 4 - Worrying about providing for the baby.
Tiger's World: 1 - Nanny or two (Swedish?). I doubt he's getting up in the middle of the night. 2 - Nanny again. 3 - Yup could impact him, but the dude has some mental toughness 4 - I don't think that Tiger's worried about making ends meet for a college fund for little Sam.
So, I think Tiger will do just fine. - UnFriendlyFire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3What a great headline. "...Experts think there is no problem or issue to report... BUT ITS ABOUT TIGER WOODS!!!!'
- schmimd04, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4dugg just because all you nerds are bitching about it. go jerk off on a mac
- IShouldBeWorkin, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7This isn't news people...
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3about 50 more people than you?
- stuntant, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3So having a baby ruins a woman. You are an idiot.
- cpugeek2214, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Thanks ESPN, for the report on Tiger Woods not changing.
- virtueandwine, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@supimscott:
Yeah, because everyone on digg MUST be a technology enthusiastic nerd; can't be a girl (gasp!) bored at work who enjoys reading interesting, important, or at least amusing news on here.. - Gustomucho, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3It will influence his play if the kid gets more attention from media than he does.
How long before you see Baby Woods wearing Nike ? - Jwoey, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3You did when Michael Jordan had a kid. If Federer has a kid, that'll be news, too.
- Jwoey, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Because enough people disagreed with you to get it there. Stop clicking on things that don't interest you, dink.
- grunk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I heard Tiger's taking him out on the course this weekend to teach the kid how to play.
- alpine75, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Couldn't a better case be made his marriage has had a greater effect than a child ever will?
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It will only affect his performance if he has 2am diaper and feeding duty.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2he'll get even better now.
- c0d3b0y, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Did fatherhood affect Michael Jordan's performance? Uh yeah he won six NBA titles lol. This could make Tiger unstoppable (not that he already isn't).
- virtueandwine, on 10/11/2007, -6/+8why is this important?
- supimscott, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2And they can't POSSIBLY just not click a story that doesn't interest them. No way.
- bretto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"I heard Tiger's taking HER out on the course this weekend to teach the kid how to play."
- wannabenomad, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Maybe I just have a skewed perspective from living with a golf pro, but I wasn't surprised at all that this made the front page. People have been speculating on how this might effect Tiger's game from day one. About half of people who are even mildly interested in golf adore Tiger, and the other half would like nothing more than to see him fail completely for ANY reason.
He's (to use a phrase the media seems to love these days) a polarizing figure. So of course anything that happens to him is news. Sports news is news too. - craftyshrew, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Above and beyond the fact that this shouldn't be reported...who are these "experts"?
- blaaguuu, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I laugh when I see "ESPN" and "Experts" together...
- matriculated, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I thought this was going to be some weird article on Mac OS X.
- nickerbocker, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I saw the headline and thought this was an Apple story.
- corbs132, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2buried for tricking me into thinking it was about mac.
- zioxide, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Tiger's one of the richest athletes on the planet, so he'll be able to afford to fly Elin and Sam over when he plays in events. He'll have a few nannys to take care of the baby while he's out at the tournaments.
Plus, he doesn't play in every event like he used to a few years ago. He only plays in bigger events now, so it usually ends up that he plays a week or two and then has a couple off before playing again. - EochaidRiata, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Tiger's PGA tour rankings.
Putts Per Round: 118th
Driving Accuracy: 160th
Are top notch irons going to be enough to catch Jack? - thurows, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1First who cares, there are others that play golf and beat Tiger. But, Tiger gets the press even when he chokes. Frankly I'm tired of hearing about Tiger who cares if he's taken a good ***** or not.
- sljepi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1So you must be one of the "experts" who claims parenthood will not affect his course performance. Sensationalist, Paris Hilton hugger!
- shorty9, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Nothing will bring down the king.
http://www.hooqs.com/tiger-woods/17021,18392 - tkilljoy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1dugg down. this is just more of that non-news *****.
- viviwanu, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1If he survived the prenuptial ***** fest, fatherhood should be a breeze for him. Besides, who gives it a *****?
- mustamike, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0My God. There are athlete-fatherhood experts already? I'm so waaay behind.
- daniel443, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Wow, I can't believe this is actually news worthy.
http://www.golfingmatches.com - thraxed, on 12/19/2007, -0/+0amazing lol
http://www.talibkweli.co.uk - torrzilla, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I hope his caddy knows how to change a diaper.
- supimscott, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1You can only care about something if you benefit monetarily.
- jameslj, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0in case you forgot...digg isn't just about technology anymore...
- RTFishUL, on 10/11/2007, -7/+6In other news, who really gives a sh*t?
- shartman, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4Seriously, WHO CARES!
- shootdashit, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1*****, i think this kind of thing is exactly why i miss watching my television news! i thought to myself, why aren't there more ***** stories rather than things that help you on digg? i hope we see more stories on digg about celebrities having babies, going vegan, and any other personal change, and whether it'll affect their ability to act, play sports, or get on the front page of a news site. i mean, what if having a kid affects my golf game? should i not have one? kid, i mean. can't stop playing golf.
sorry, with my curiousity, i had to click to see who the ***** cared about this *****. not slamming woods. congrats to him. - EmperorAwesome, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Who cares?
- Dynamosa, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2No - traveling constantly and then training when he's not on the road - that won't affect his parenting. Course not...
- barnhart912, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0Does anyone really give a ***** if Tiger Woods plays better or worse? Are we getting cuts of his paychecks, cause I'm pretty sure I haven't recieved mine from the last US Open he won
- M3RCINIAN, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1He is a father because he is an expert at putting it in the hole. (Pun intended)
- antoniojvr, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Which makes this the most useless story submitted ti Digg.
"Coming up, do rocks think? New evidence suggests 'No'." - santeria49, on 10/11/2007, -7/+3Clearly this is a slow news day. Who freaking cares? You don't see articles like this about every other athlete that becomes a parent.
