- carniv0re, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Watching that final round and Tiger finally break down with his emotions was bittersweet. It's that little bit which makes watching sports, I find compelling. Congratulations to Tiger for a well played game I'm sure he dedicates to his father. I do have to feel bad for Chris DiMarco who played very well despite (or perhaps in tribute to) losing his mother.
- cwill341, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5How could there not be tears from Tiger? Those were tears from a man with a passion for the game and an even greater passion and respect for the job his father did in raising him. This was one of the greatest sports moments I have witnessed. I am happy he won and happy he showed such emotion after the victory. Great job Tiger!
- powerf00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Don't be a retard
- carniv0re, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Also, here's ESPN's coverage of the win: http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/britishopen06/news/story?id=2527586
- choice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I dobbed right along with him. You could feel both his relief at having come back so strong after not making the cut at the US Open as well as his regret that his dad wasn't waiting for him on the sideline and never will, again. It was a genuine, human moment. No golfer is more fun to watch than Tiger Woods. When he's on, it's simply a delight.
- carniv0re, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I see. So when your father passed away (or when he eventually does), what major golf or sporting event do you plan to win in dedication to him? Getting drunk?
- blackbelt88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is his 3rd Open, and his 2nd straight.
- chepenguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was their it was pretty intense stuff..... 2 more under and it would of been a course record but that doesnt matter Tiger has shown us he is still number one and the fact he stood strong with more pressure to perform than ever.
- ThirstyFerret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1every single one of us ;)
- sithvicious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1did anyone see that commercial with Tiger and his dad for father's day? Man it was both so cool to see him with his dad having fun playing golf and sad, it made me all teary eyed when i saw it. Congrats Tiger!
- choice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sh!t missed that typo. I SOBBED right along with him.
- RAT-Man, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The course looks good. My golf swing feels good. I like my chances.
- omgcthulhu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Perfect post! Even if it's not true it is quite a nice idea.
- covertbadger, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2YES!
Wll played that man. And may I just raise a glass to the clown that gave me odds of 6.8 on Tiger on Betfair last Wednesday, and who has now indirectly paid for my holiday this year. Cheers buddy! - ho0ber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Get over yourself - it is fine because it is (although a rather unknown one) a real site presenting a self-written article. This is well written, and has a great embedded video. Thanks Ferret!
- ThirstyFerret, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1thanks, ho0ber.
I put effort into my writings to make it different, hopefully an informative view too. Little known, indeed, but I try. - wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2And well played to you, sir. You completely pwned that n00b bookmaker. Have a beer for us when you are on holiday.
- nugge7, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Tiger, Tiger Woods Ya'll!
- m00dy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0If theres anybody you should clone, it would have to be Tiger Woods, it would be interesting if you had two Tiger clones and put them up against each other to compete.
Either way, way to goo - AICWebmaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Was anyone suprised at the outcome? Way to go Tiger!

- notkevin, on 10/12/2007, -13/+5"Tiger Woods Wins 135th British Open"
Wow, that has to be a record. I didn't think he was that old :) - thechitowncubs, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1Self promotion.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -19/+4That headline might be a tad miseading... Sure it's the 135th British Open, but it's actually only the 2nd that Tiger's won.
