- nismo334, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3Whatever I'm an X-ray tech with a lot of down time and I X-ray Crap all the time. Cell phones, Puzzles, any electronics, candy, whatever is in my pockets. I don't do it to people of course, but this is still happening today. In fact I have a friend who is a rare puzzle colector who had me X-ray a few of his puzzles to figure out how to solve them. One was so hard we had to CT it, and create a volumetric rendering to figure it out. (these puzzles are like hundreds of moves). But, Shh everyone on Digg keep it on the DL so my boss doesn't find out. You guy's are cool right? Thats what I thought.
- asgardshill, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3We were still X-raying stuff just for the hell of it as late as the 1950s. Many shoe stores had a machine that used, you guessed it, X-rays to fit shoes.
- IWDA4, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2x-rays photography is so last century
