- Khael, on 05/28/2008, -2/+138MAYBE a strategic, economic war. I don't really believe in an armed WW3.
- WhiteIce89, on 05/29/2008, -3/+88We're gonna take advantage of global warming.. to produce more global warming?!?
Brilliant. - nathangl, on 05/29/2008, -3/+64God damn, watch out, us Canadians are involved. We're #1 at cold war combat.
- BillMoocho, on 05/29/2008, -2/+50Alaska?
- bartofdahammer, on 05/29/2008, -2/+44Boar War, War 1812, WWI, WWII, Korea, Afghanistan
- 9bpm9, on 05/29/2008, -7/+48No.
- DiscoLando, on 05/29/2008, -4/+45Buried for sensationalism.
- BillMoocho, on 05/29/2008, -4/+42It must suck if American soldiers find themselves out of the sandy barrens of Iraq, only to be freezing their asses off in the Arctic.
- ChristophyBrown, on 05/29/2008, -6/+44To hell with Russia and USA having it. Divide it between Canada, Norway and Denmark. It'd be safer that way.
- carrtoonist, on 05/29/2008, -10/+46The Arctic belongs to Canada.
- XenoSNK, on 05/29/2008, -3/+39Does anyone else see this as ironic? We can get more oil because the ice caps are melting?
Have we not learned? - XternalHD, on 05/29/2008, -0/+34***** the Arctic. Lets all team together to take over Titan.
- stillasleep00, on 05/29/2008, -5/+36In an ideal world, maybe, but I'm afraid I have to ask-
Are you at all familiar with American foreign policy? =/ - twiztidsinz, on 05/29/2008, -1/+30WWJD?
- Clugenheim, on 05/29/2008, -6/+35CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!
- 0Xonox0, on 05/29/2008, -3/+30Last time I checked Alaska was a decent chunk of territory bordering the arctic. Besides, the USA owns all the oil in the world by default, we proved that when we invaded Iraq to defend our oil.
- tmyprod, on 05/29/2008, -2/+29Dude, Norway has vikings. You don't want to ***** w/ vikings.
- twiztidsinz, on 05/29/2008, -2/+27Nope.. I attended second grade.
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -2/+26You're a perfect specimen of the failing US education system.
You wilI make a fine McDonalds employee someday.
.. and yes I would like fries with that. - topace3000, on 05/29/2008, -4/+27An interesting political conflict, but no, it won't cause a war.
- ChristophyBrown, on 05/29/2008, -4/+25Hahaha, loser. I like how you edit and add in (USA's BITCH).
Hey man, remember that time when America told us to go to Iraq with them and we said something along the lines of "***** off *****." - soupr, on 05/29/2008, -10/+30That war would basically be USA vs. Russia, with Canada, Denmark and Norway hiding under the bed
- Orion1004, on 05/28/2008, -3/+23I think the Russians will fight to the death to retain what they perceive to be their mineral rights in the Arctic -they've made vast claims based on recent mapping expeditions. Putin has been very aggressive and clear on this.
- Mesmorize, on 05/29/2008, -1/+20Ooh, in your attempt to be anti-American you forgot logic.
Bummer. - Greengoo, on 05/29/2008, -0/+19Global warming is a pie-eating contest where the prize is more pie...
Then the pie kills us all. - Jasper710, on 05/28/2008, -9/+28more like WWIV
- BillMoocho, on 05/29/2008, -0/+18or playing Ice Hockey.
- carrtoonist, on 05/29/2008, -1/+18Canada doesn't border the arctic, it is the arctic. The arctic is not some unclaimed area of land, the borders for it have already been drawn. The race for the arctic will not be decided by war or political haggling. It will be decided by settlement. Who will be the first to go up and use the arctic, which Canada has already done and is doing.
- pal60, on 05/29/2008, -0/+16Denmark is a very small country and would never go to war with such big nations because they simply do not have space enough for all the POW's they would take.
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -5/+21BOOOOOOOOOOOO !!
fail - Cloud7654, on 05/29/2008, -3/+19I see your point, but I'm going to have to disagree.
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -2/+17i looked at your profile and realized you cant make a single comment without saying *****. so your ignorance shows that you would actually like jeb bush to run in 2012 and be dumb enough to vote for him.
OJdidntdoIT= segregory416's bitch - Aooogah, on 05/29/2008, -1/+16How could you forget about Alaska, home of Ted "Series of Tubes" Stevens?
- aimhelix, on 05/29/2008, -3/+17Wait a minute. Did you say oil?
- RogerStrong, on 05/28/2008, -3/+17Canada and Denmark have done - and continue to do - their own mapping missions.
- adeadwaffle, on 05/29/2008, -0/+13They speak Communist! Get them!
- jp12380, on 05/29/2008, -0/+13Yes, we are currently on 110, pay attention.
- BillMoocho, on 05/29/2008, -0/+13It's true. By the time the other countries get to the Arctic, they will be buying coffee at Tim Hortons.
- baylat, on 05/29/2008, -0/+12Sure, as long as we get the oil.
- Ravatar, on 05/29/2008, -1/+13Well, somebody has to be around to claim the massive barren radioactive landspace known as South Canada after the US and Russia nuke the ***** out of each other.
- beasty_dave_Mk2, on 05/29/2008, -14/+26get bent, we burnt your white house down *****.
- bartofdahammer, on 05/29/2008, -7/+18Canada's gonna ***** yall up
- adrianlee, on 05/29/2008, -0/+11Throughout most of history until the Statute of Westminster in 1931, Canada was required to fight under the British flag. In other words until 1931, when Britain declared war, Canada must fight as well because Canada was not yet an independent international actor. That may be why you don't see many battles classified exclusively as Canadian.
- aaabatteries, on 05/29/2008, -7/+18Arctic is north, not south.
- whatthefu, on 05/29/2008, -1/+12By Antarctica do you mean Alaska? Which is part of the Arctic Circle?
- takuansoho, on 05/29/2008, -2/+13Somehow I don't think a war between Canada, Denmark, Norway, the new Russia, and the United States would be very fair.
Especially with NATO - SpectreFire, on 05/29/2008, -4/+15And this children, is why you don't drop babies on their heads... repeatedly.
- colonelxc, on 05/29/2008, -1/+12That's why we need to multiply them together, instead of just adding them.
- dnl2ba, on 05/29/2008, -0/+10Ah, but the article doesn't say WW3! It says WW111, which I guess is 109 world wars from now.
- bartofdahammer, on 05/29/2008, -0/+10idk who dugg you down, but ya its because of Alaska, its with-in the arctic region
