That said, the real reason people start smoking is not because 'at some point in their lives, someone asked them if they wanted to try a cigarette' and they proceeded to become addicted, it's because cigarettes have the appeal of giving you a relaxing feeling. It takes weeks to become addicted; there must be something to it.

It was pretty amazing. They give you 3 shots, one to F you up, then one behind each ear about 30 minutes later. You can't drive home afterward becuase you are pretty messed up. It felt like slamming a 6 pack in about 30 minutes. You take wellbutrin or something for 5 days after and that's it. I think it was $500, but I saved that in under 3 months as I smoked about 1-1/2 - 2 packs a day.
I have not had a craving or desire since. Oh, and if you relapse in under a year, they repeat the treatment for something like $50. I think it's a good treatment, plus I was really ready to quit. If you aren't ready, no treatment will help.
