Wow, just when I thought my opinion of most digg commenter's was rock bottom, I find it wasn't quite low enough.
First off, he does this for the spirit of adventure as well part of his motivational career. Second, the guy's summited Everest more times than you've even had a Digg front page story so, you need to reevaluate your definition of success or 'lamery' there buddy... - PissedGamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3h0dg3s, it isn't cheating. Obviously the person who set the first world record had breaks here and there because the world record was valid...the guy made sure to look into that to see how many breaks he could get.

The whole thing reads a bit like an experiment in pain and misery (which in chinese apparently translates into "courage and determination")

It looks like he is wearing a variant of the Kirby-Morgan band mask, so I'm not surprised that his face is getting bruised, or that he is getting some breakdown.
