- mikemehak, on 07/14/2009, -0/+22Things like this excite me. It's pretty cool that we are still discovering these types of things.
Even though I know I would be living the life of Indiana Jones, I wish I had gone to school to be an archeologist. - Stoyanov, on 07/14/2009, -0/+18I demand HD footage.
- grovest4life, on 07/14/2009, -0/+16Is Geraldo Rivera going to be revealing this discovery.
- magneteye, on 07/14/2009, -0/+10Throw me the idol, I throw you the whip!
- fightingforair, on 07/14/2009, -0/+9That belongs in a museum!
- davebushe, on 07/14/2009, -1/+8Given that the Templo Mayor is in middle of Mexico City (it's just off the Zocalo), I think it's even more awesome that something like this could still be found. It's not out somewhere in the country, its slap bang in the middle of the city.
Just imagine the excitement there if this does turn out to be an unlooted tomb. Awesome stuff. - mkmega, on 07/14/2009, -0/+7And within the tomb they will find a half buried Stargate, huzzah!
- theodenking, on 07/14/2009, -0/+6I'm at school studying to be an archaeologist. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
- wolfing, on 07/14/2009, -1/+7"The skeleton "could represent the dog that accompanied the deceased to the other side and helped them to cross a river called Chicnahuapan, one of the dangers before arriving at the ninth and deepest level of the underworld," López Luján said."
Man, I'd rather have a trusty dog guiding me than giving a silver coin to some crazy dark dude on a small boat - LilRabbitFooFoo, on 07/14/2009, -0/+6Question mark in the title
"clues"
"could be"
Sounds like someone is REALLY stretching for press and/or the latest Geraldo Rivera fiasco... - inactive, on 07/14/2009, -1/+5hey syntaxgs!

- RegularUser, on 07/14/2009, -3/+6Don't open it!
Behind the monolith there are traps, curses, evil bacteria, cats and dogs living together! - charlietuna, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3About time we got around to looting this tomb.
- MothBoy, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3Silly question: If they haven't found it yet, what makes them think it isn't already looted?
Well, gotta go. I'm off to find an unrobbed bank. - startle3iv, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3And don't forget its also right across the street from Dunkin Donuts. Which is kind of crazy.
- satanikus, on 07/14/2009, -1/+4So do YOU!!!

- Lanttu42, on 07/14/2009, -1/+3Aaarrr... I knew that this swine flu isn't just a flu... Its Curse of the Aztec King!
- skipvt, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2So, if they find out it's a dog skeleton then fame and fortune await. But if it's a wolf, then what? Death and destruction?
- WordsnCollision, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2Montezuma's Revenge is gonna make swine flu look like a mild sniffle.
- diggopolous, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2I wanna live the life of Indiana Joenes too. Please let me know where your deceased relatives are buried so I can disturb their graves and coffins in the hopes I can uncover some cool and interesting *****. oh, that's different huh?
Riiiiigght. - askantik, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1Maybe if they were looking at Mayan stuff they would...

SO DO YOU! - angelusone, on 07/14/2009, -2/+3I can't wait, in just a few thousand short years someone will raid my grave. Although, they aren't going to find anything but me in it, because I'm broke as *****. Maybe they will put me on display somewhere nice.
- syntaxgs, on 07/14/2009, -6/+6every time something discover they steal it all and put it in museum for profit so it need too be not discover so it won,t be profitered on
the past is sacred - Trent1492, on 07/14/2009, -2/+2Go ahead. Just be sure your properly credentialed and that you have a research hypothesis that justifies the dig. I look forward to your publication of your findings in an appropriate peer reviewed journal. Of course your going to have a plan and budget ready for the lab research, storage and archiving of the objects you excavate. Oh, did I mention that if you are just going on a treasure hunt your not doing science?
- compguy101101, on 07/14/2009, -2/+2So finding the unlooted tomb the team or archeologists are going to loot *cough* preserve the artifacts in the tomb and put them on display in a museum somewhere outside of the tomb......
- bonkeykong, on 07/14/2009, -12/+3Answer: No.
