    BRILLIANT! Obviously when something looks like a Rhino, the best comparison would be to a blue animated one from a Disney film. Rather than oohh say "a Rhino".

  • thesonofdarwin, on 07/06/2008, -2/+5However, our finding a new species does not mean, and is very, very unlikely the case, that the species is "new" in relation to the life of the Earth. We'd be very hard pressed to find a newly evolved species outside of microorganisms as we can't even identify the majority of the current species in the world.

    We can find organisms that evolved new traits relatively recently, but to evolve to a point where they can no longer reproduce with their species is a rare find indeed.
