- Jadinlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Ya but where are the drawings? Nice to have but its also like reading the text-only version of a comic book.

The original is over 500 years old so um... - etruscan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is pretty impressive. It looses a lot of it's luster when taken out of context though. Leonardo's notebooks were first and foremost Art, and while the text is nice for academic purposes, I certainly won't gawk at this text for nearly the length of time I would gawk at his actual notebooks.
- bawz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I didn't know about it so it's news to me. Stop getting hung up on details and just enjoy the site.
- theman8631, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Welcome to digg.
If something gets enough diggs it gets to the front page. Ktnx - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My high school library had a set of the notebooks...I spent a lot of time flipping through them - fascinating. But like was previously noted, there isn't much value in these if you can't see the drawings for even more the text in his own hadn.
- ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Marked as Inaccurate because it's not "Complete", not by a long shot. All you can download is a .txt file. Now if you could download hi-rez scans of the actual pages, then that would be complete. I mean no drawings? Most of the text won't even make sense without the drawings.
- lweese, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I like Da Vinci's Notebook's "Enormous Penis" and "Internet Porn" myself. None of the lyrics in the link are very funny.
- bobbywan, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6oh so you can comment that it sucked but I can't? Yes your worshipfulness.
- gh02t, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3The movie was bad, but the book was good, even if it was a bit... imaginative
'Course Angels and Demons was better - Lutja, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2If you liked da vinci cod you should tryreading Foucalt's pendulum - that is the original historical conspiracy novel (just dont be put uff when you encounter the words 'isochronal majesty' in the opening paragraph lol ).
- guaigean, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0The release date on this is 2004. Isn't a key part of being news that something be new?
- jrizzo, on 10/12/2007, -17/+4This is freakin cool. No Da Vinci code references please (that movie AND book sucked). However, this is of great historical importance and very interesting to read if you can get through the old style of speaking.
