- tanxadillo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10No matter what size, every sperm is sacred and every sperm is good.

- kingthot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5"...smaller gametes would have distinct advantages over mid-size models" replace "gametes" with something like "coupes" and I feel like we're discussing cars.

- sanman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wouldn't big eggs be helpful too? A bigger target to hit.

- blackjack75, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe this could answer the famous diggnation question by something else than "it's southern california and I have fruit".
- kivimaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was doing research in school on Fruit Flies and I came across some interesting information.
Since fruit flies reproduce so quickly, they are prime candidates for genetic experimentation. There was one mutant aptly named the "cockeyed" fruit fly. I'll leave the rest up to everyone's imagination. - LoHo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1so much for motion of the ocean....
- rolandog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Monty Python totally rocks my socks.
//Just a flesh wound... - wocket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think that has got to be the most interesting/disturbing information that I have read in a while, so uh.. thanks?
- Perfection, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've actually heard some intersting stuff about how 99% of sperm is actually not fertile, but is meant to sabotage other sperm (such as from another man) from being able to get the egg. Essentially, it is a form of protection developed by evolutiona dn is talked about in a book called "Sperm Wars" I believe.
Anyways, I thought that was something interested and kinda related to the story. - jroppenheimer, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2"Sperm size? Who cares? Everyone know its the size of the sperm extruder that counts." -whoatemydigg
