- ElBeh, on 03/31/2008, -1/+25Hey, you must be new here.
I know in other places that kind of thing is accepted, and even sometimes sought after, but on Digg it's generally regarded as irksome and worthy of many buries. If you would be so kind, please do not do that again. Thanks, and enjoy Digg! :)- paintpro, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9He has been here for 7 months. No excuses.
- hiPpymIck, on 03/31/2008, -1/+7i find first comment can be good for letting me and everyone else know something generally useful about the article..

- jakash, on 03/31/2008, -0/+11"the "first purely electronic communication experiment between the nervous systems of two humans" across the internet" - Brain Torrents FTW!!
- fatlip, on 03/31/2008, -0/+8the MAFIAA will label us as thought criminals =/
- lukeev, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1We'd have to train our minds to 'think happy thoughts' to interfere with the pirate-like neural signals :-0
- fatlip, on 03/31/2008, -0/+8the MAFIAA will label us as thought criminals =/
- mrdeathgod, on 03/31/2008, -0/+29Dugg for the word "humptricity".

- Hobbes24, on 03/31/2008, -11/+3i suppose in the loosest sense of the word i could be called a cyborg too
i have titanium screws reinforcing bone in my jaw and chin, making them far stronger than normal, haha, awesome- jaymzdean, on 03/31/2008, -2/+14actually, if you have all that hardware, it means you've had your jaw and chin broken, which means you probably have a glass jaw, in which case, you'll always have a glass jaw unless you get the whole thing replaced with titanium. ha. ha.
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -1/+1Oh no he dih uhnt!!!
- doctechnical, on 03/31/2008, -0/+7Dugg for Wilhelm Reich. who theories of orgasm energy were so spooky scary that the FDA burned his books.
- Killer57, on 03/31/2008, -1/+1Yeah he was insane, probably as a result of a ***** up childhood.

- ChocChunkOaties, on 03/31/2008, -8/+3I reckon GW has one of those god helmets implanted in his brain. Someone should EMP him to see what happens.
- alenox, on 03/31/2008, -1/+41Tesla > Edison
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla- Machismo, on 03/31/2008, -0/+11Tesla >>> Edison
Edison was just a crock and a thief. An all around a-hole who took good ideas from other, smarter people.- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -3/+8Kind of like Steve Jobs.
- XAVeRY, on 03/31/2008, -0/+0And Tesla was portrayed by one of the coolest people on Earth, David Bowie. While I don't remember Edison being played by somebody at least similarly cool.
- ricksite, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3If Tesla is "The Crazy Edison" then Edison can be "The Wannabe Telsa".
- Machismo, on 03/31/2008, -0/+11Tesla >>> Edison
- LiquidIse, on 03/31/2008, -4/+9Maybe its just me, but cracked articles seem to be becoming less and less coherent
- SpectralSounds, on 03/31/2008, -1/+13Tesla rocked.
"a thought photography machine that would take pictures of things from your imagination and display them on a screen."
That would be ***** awesome..... I would definitely buy a "Dream Recorder". Whoever gets that to work (if it is even technologically possible in the future) is going to be a trillionaire.- kingmanic, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2I vaguely recall that someone is working to make this.
- ArachnidDude, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3Dream recorder == mind reader. Yikes!
- FortyCaliber, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Read "Mind Transfer" by Janet Asimov
- vector86, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3It's a double edged sword. There's obvious positives to this but some dreams should never be relived.
- CATSCEO, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3Just think of the porn...
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -0/+8Damn, think how much worse YouTube would be.
- BigLLamasHouse, on 03/31/2008, -2/+4Thomas Midgley Jr. ..Today's Worst Person in the World...
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -0/+5"One historian remarked that Midgley "had more impact on the atmosphere than any other single organism in Earth history."

- zaii7, on 03/31/2008, -1/+7Im gonna perform a whacky experiment where i stick my penis into a woman and a ghost comes out
- kingmanic, on 03/31/2008, -0/+6I think we're going to have trouble finding test subjects. I think we're going to have to increase the honorarium to $4300.
- shaba1, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1its not ghost....its youghurt
- slsanity, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Check out the book "Elephants on Acid: And Other Bizarre Experiments" by Alex Boese for more.
- Ganja420, on 03/31/2008, -0/+15Tesla tried alot of things that were thought impossible at the time
- chrissku, on 03/31/2008, -12/+10Hillary Clinton needs to iron my shirt and make me a sandwhich.
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -2/+4And learn to pee sitting down.
- Hangly, on 03/31/2008, -0/+7I've always been a fan of Isaac Newton's experiment where he stuck a hatpin behind his eyeball to see what was back there.
- tonich03, on 03/31/2008, -0/+12I'm going to declare my love for Cracked right here. ALL of their articles seem so deep and rich in details, yet written in such a wimpy style. Furthermore, their "top 10 something lists" are normally very complete and not you-usual-only-the first-two-position-are-worth-it.
- borez, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Well hello, the Manhattan project?
- timothycrash01, on 03/31/2008, -1/+5Coming this summer - Large Hadron Collider goes online.

Possible Universe solver. Possible Universe ender. I'm guessing the entire world could momentarily turn into that opening scene from Half Life.- DonTazeMeBro, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4At least we already know how to survive.
- watcht, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3Crowbar the headcrabs!!!
- DonTazeMeBro, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4At least we already know how to survive.
- Hetman, on 03/31/2008, -0/+12Michael Persinger and the God Helmet. That was really not that crazy. He is just trying to explain why some people claim to have holy experiences. And the cool part is he is able to produce the results in a laboratory
- VinnieDaMac, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1Honorable Mention: Race Scientists - http://www.understandingrace.org/history/science/m ...
- barrakuda, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2dugg for the lost joke
"Persinger has gone on to try to explain damn near all unexplained phenomenon as being caused by the same kind of electromagnetism (just as the show Lost seems to be doing)." - alittleroy101, on 03/31/2008, -2/+4From the comments at cracked:
CodyCastorYou can ***** whales if you want, but trust me, it's not as cool as you think it will be. First off, they just kind of lay there and take it. Plus, they all pretty much look the same so you can't tell if you got a hot one or the "runt of the litter". If you decide to go through with it, I hope your experience is better than mine were.
What the hell... - leerayIG88, on 03/31/2008, -1/+2I wish I was smart enough to called a scientist.
- RSS14, on 03/31/2008, -0/+10Tesla and the prick should not be in the same sentence. ***** Edison.
- CATSCEO, on 03/31/2008, -0/+10Tesla is Electro-Jesus
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Teslas is Vishnu with lightning bolts shooting out of all four hands.
- H0tKarl, on 03/31/2008, -2/+311. A monkey with four asses.
- smurfsahoy, on 03/31/2008, -2/+2What's wrong with being a cyborg? Cyborgs are flipping awesome - it's pretty much the only way to achieve immortality if you started out as a biological human.
- TruffleMuffin, on 03/31/2008, -2/+1Hello, I can't help but be disgusted with inclusion of Kevin Warick on that list. Certainly there is an aspect of his research which is a little freaky but the man has dedicated his research to help people communicate. And primarily these people suffer from the most insufferable diseases on the planet, preventing them from communicating in any way. His research has enabled people who can't move/talk or even blink communicate with their family for the first time in years. It just goes to show the limited minded people out there who find nightmare diseases, and the afflicted who don't have time to kill themselves (as many do upon diagnosis to avoid the hell that is to come) funny.
- darktrivium, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1I had a feeling Tesla would be on this list for his "Death Ray."
- captoftheworld, on 03/31/2008, -1/+1Hwang Woo-Suk
lol - whoreable, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1All this talk about tesla and edison..... I wonder why the experiment where edison electrocuted an elephant to show ac was dangerous, was not on the list.
- Myahon, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1Reminds me of the webgame where they show youa picture andyou have to guess if it's a famous scientist or a famous seriel killer.
