My wife lives in my brain? - resta6, on 01/12/2009, -8/+38I guess Bush is missing that part of his brain
- AvinKoan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+35I know a few people who must be missing this area of the brain because they never f*cking learn.
- secretwhistle, on 10/11/2007, -3/+33Alcohol heads here first.

- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11"Why we learn from mistakes"
Because if we didn't we'd be ***** DEAD. - ViRaZ, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12Uwe Boll is certainly missing a part or two.
- Lumbeekid06, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5but history tends to repeat itself, wouldn't that contradict this statement?
- PhantomRogue, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7This part of the Brain is also named, "Clue" because some people just dont have one.
- 4degrees, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5is that why everyone chooses "rock" in paper rock scissors?
- Winters, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6No, just most registered voters.
- Winters, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6So you didn't learn your lesson either time: Your vote does not matter.
Kidding! Kidding! - geekfrom99, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3oh wait, i meant they don't know what *there* talking about
- 4degrees, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Also, apparently if you become an elected official you also lose the ability to do this.
- santiago1, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4
Common Sense = A dying art form.... - Blah_Blah_Blah, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I think it's been confirmed that Bush is missing most of his brain.
- DeathScytheHell, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Why we learn from mistakes?....because most people have seen the Terminator movies and we don't want cyborgs.
- PhantomZmoove, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Hey, speak for yourself buddy. I didn't vote for that jerk either time.
- punchinelli, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Study Reveals Why Nobody Cares
- ScottMaximus1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Generalizations FTW
- Veretax, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Isn't this a dup from some months ago only rehashed with a new date? Could have sworn I saw this news before.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2And the more painful the mistake, the quicker we learn. So parents...please start discplining your punk children.
- CryptiniteDemon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2That's because all the other politicians will call you a flipflopper if you do learn from them.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1There was also a study done on the relationship of adrenaline to the formation of memory, and the stronger the adrenaline rush, the more powerful the memory. There is a pill already on the market known as a "beta-blocker" which suppresses the reception of such surges, and studies are being done to show how memories can be eased:
http://digg.com/health/Memory_Pill_helps_relieve_traumatic_memories - Galaeron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I didn't need to be told why if I grab a hot plate and it burns I don't touch it again. I can tell you i'm not touching the plate again because it ***** burned.
Please give me grant money to support my theory. - grouchyman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1They should name the area after Pavlov
- tb0n3r, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3I wonder when they're going to do a study on why we fund so many studies.
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Because they want to piss of daddy. Eventually they'll stop coming around when they move into the "I want a guy just like daddy". Of course... if her dad was an *****.... there ya go!
- akise, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Nah, he just never suffered any real consequences. No consequence, no mistake.
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You're speaking of one generation learning from another. This is more about one person learning from personal experience.
- cr4ft, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1If only this was applicable with politicians
- PhantomZmoove, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Ahhhh, you got me on that one. :)
- spurton, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I think mine is broken
- Andysan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Digg posters never seem to learn from their mistakes. They just keep on posting the same crap. Seems some are just mindless shills.
- AriaStar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1We learn from our mistakes because it hurts to touch the stove while it's on, to fall out of a tree, and to pee on an electric fence.
- grouchyman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I was inferring that it's similar to the research Pavlov did with classical conditioning. We learn to avoid mistakes much like the dogs learned to salivate upon hearing a bell. It's a stimulus followed immediately with another stimulus. Not exactly groundbreaking work here.
- catalysis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Yeah, it's always good to name a scientific discovery after a scientist that had absolutely nothing to do with it in any way, shape, or form.
- Gramage, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I bet you never leave the house :-S
Better to be known for making some mistakes than completely unknown for not doing anything, ever. - VitriolAndAngst, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Not everyone has evolved this ability.
Hence the people who voted for Bush, twice. - NerdyNinja, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3I can. They speak more than just english with clarity. And they eat healthier/walk more. If you mean that they otherwise look like humans, then yes, they are hard to separate from Americans.
- jsams81, on 06/26/2009, -0/+0why do scientists keep doing studies on obvious ***** nobody cares about?
- jason469, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0@shortstick I disagree. If you lived your life by not doing things because others told you not to, wouldn't that be a boring life? I believe you can avoid dumb things, but just because something didn't work for one person doesn't mean it won't work for another person. Living life on a beaten path sucks, innovators have always done things their own way.
There is a quote, I think it goes something like: "those who have never made a mistake, have never tried anything new" I'm sure I messed that up, but you get what I mean. - Eccles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The problem is, even less than a second after saying "I do" is too late.
- geekfrom99, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1these guys don't know what their talking about
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1That is probably the FIRST time since the initial incident where this is appropriate.
- CGreen, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1alerts us?
What is us here?
Is us seperate from the brain in their view? - jason469, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0So, I wonder if repeat offenders are missing that part of the brain?
- SaII, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1is this article mr.obvious or what?
- opitica, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Then why the hell do women keep going after the same type of ***** like myself.
