- RealmDown, on 11/17/2008, -2/+10Use CPR. ( Coral-pulmonary resuscitation )
- ScottMcIntyre, on 11/17/2008, -0/+8Coral is one of the most delicate forms of sealife and is easily destroyed by environmental factors. This approach seems to have been tried before- hopefully more of the baby coral will survive this time.
QFA:"It follows the implantation of 5,300 baby corals in 2006. Only one-third of them have survived, with many dying off or damaged by dead and collapsed corals stirred up in the sea by typhoons." - lxrhee, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7Clear!
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4it would be one step closer towards an improved marine life
- DyceFreak, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4sure japan's all like save the coral
then they go and ***** the whales blowholes until they suffocate - inactive, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2Yes, ALL of Japan does scientific research on whales...
Stunning logic. - JKAL, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2yeah just like the 'now' popular move to everything gree and eco-friendly by the US, however US companies are still destroying acres of the Amazon forest on a daily basis, just so they can graze their cattle to make beef meat for their US burger companies, and then export diseased meat to other countries...
yeah, funny how one should clean up their own backyard before criticizing another. - ksalminen, on 11/17/2008, -1/+2Here's to hopeing that it works. The things we do to this earth.....
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Whales are insignificant.
- thejart, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1how will we stop them from being chocked, indeed.
- drakethegreat, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Seems kind of pointless huh? Mainly because if our world infrastructure is based on diesel burning freights then how are we going to stop these new reefs from being slowly chocked. Especially since they are planting them in Japan and Indonesia where one would suspect that water traffic is at an all time high given how much product is transported from those ports.
- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1***** you, and your propaganda.
- scoottie, on 11/17/2008, -1/+1damn you .... lol
- Vess, on 11/18/2008, -2/+1Stop eating whales would be a good start.

- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -2/+0Japan reef doesn't come close to Acapulco
- harley999, on 11/17/2008, -5/+3I honestly don't have much hope for this project, Japan is just doing this to gain a little international credibility, look at what they are doing with there scientific research on whales..
- kimsun, on 11/17/2008, -3/+0trouble is, the reef is not lending the coral - they are sitting on the excess reserves.
- mount1234, on 11/17/2008, -4/+0@Realm
