- vertinox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If the robots don't have anyone to sell their products and services to? Why would there be a need for money. If you have free slave labor and aritificial intelligence, then wealth could be measured in how many robots you own rather than actual dollar amounts.
- 5xSTUN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Of course, you won't buy and own the robot, you'll just be buying a license to use it.
- KhanneaSuntzu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Its all quite amussing these silly little machines, but they are rapidly getting so advanced they will be able to replace a higher percentage of jobs in just a decade. By 2030 robots and artifgicial intelligence will have replaces most of the fastfood industry, service jobs, secretarial jobs, factory jobs, construction and even milutary.
That will be great in Europe, where there is humane welfare. But in the US, most people will probably just live under a bridge I suppose, with no income, while the government is giving all money to the rich and military. - dcoolidge, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Robot's take, on social tasks...
I don't want to take on those feelly fuzzy tasks that all humans tend to want. That's just plain stupid. I am going to kill all humans because that is the most logical choice... - webdevil, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I for one welcome our........nevermind
