- Sikarian, on 07/03/2009, -0/+2This thing would have a tough time finding its way through rubble, especially rubble where firefighters and rescue workers need to get out the K-12 and begin cutting rebar to get to the victim. Also, use in a burning building to locate trapped victims? There's nothing better for that than a crew of trained firefighters with a thermal imaging camera and search and rescue training. I'd much rather have my crew go in, perform a right hand search along the wall and spread out. Each of us knows what to look for, where to feel, where people hide more so than some silly robot rat. Also, what if someone is in a closet with a shut door? Kids do this ALL the time. The robot rat is now useless.
