- gardnert1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+188CLEARLY its a rogue piece of T-1000.
- someotherdude, on 10/12/2007, -3/+125I can't believe it's not butter
- Platysquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -5/+99It took me a little to figure it out. That's on top of a fountain. The water is just pouring out.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+93It was almost too easy to figure out that it was just a fountain, still photography is the art to capture still motion to create a new effect we can't normally see.
- davehendrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+67yeah, "fuente" is spanish for fountain.
- Icupnimpn2, on 10/12/2007, -10/+63I can't understand Spanish, but I think all of the excitement on flickr was that the water seems to be clean and potable.
- shazbotter, on 10/12/2007, -4/+54i can see it now:
"Here have a nice glass of water"
*drinks water*
"hah! it was mercury all along!" - vsujohn2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+51that would be some nasty ass butter
- mildsoup, on 10/12/2007, -2/+45a waterdrop hitting a rock wouldn't look like that. at all.
- Wonkanobi, on 10/12/2007, -6/+38Is that part of the T-1000?
- Freeper, on 10/12/2007, -8/+36What a great subtitle. "Its not Ice... its water" is like saying "Its not a Euro... its Money"
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -10/+34This image was enhanced with ado-.......... ahh screw it. It was photoshopped.
- aramova, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24@thehuntedpossum:
It's a water fountain shot with an extremely fast shutter speed so it looks as if it's still without any motion blur.
Odds are a nice digital SLR was used in direct sun light for this, a wonderful shot. - MarcusJMcLean, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Well, it's not like I haven't been wrong before.
- jgreene777, on 10/12/2007, -14/+30i can't believe this made it to the top of digg....
- elhammond, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16it's alex mack.
- RichGC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Full Size Image: http://static.flickr.com/44/145709360_8ae74ee702_o.jpg
- ApplCmptrDood, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8@cayoyin If you don't know what the T-1000 is, you don't belong on digg.
- vdog, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10@thehuntedpossum: Both are H20, but ice isn't water. You can't create a scuplture out of water with a chainsaw.
- cayoyin, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Hey water dragon, I took the picture...I uploaded it as it was. I have no photoshop or adobe. I put my name on it with microsoft PAINT.
Aramova was right:
"It's a water fountain shot with an extremely fast shutter speed so it looks as if it's still without any motion blur.
Odds are a nice digital SLR was used in direct sun light for this, a wonderful shot." - Hakisaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I gotta stop smoking weed right before going on digg...
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's not a particularly fast shutter-speed (My standard DSLR lens will go to around 1/4000 of a second) - the appearance is more to do with how smooth the water was (Shutter speed would help there), and the bright sun-light making the surroundings show up in the reflection
- Ifligus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3According to http://www.flickr.com/photo_exif.gne?id=145709360 the picture was taken with a Kodak Z1590 Zoom at f/4, 1/640 exposure. As Aramova pointed out, it's the very fast shutter speed that allows this effect to be captured.
- bstew22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1need mirror that isnt flickr :( so sad. can't see picture. :(
- mrchi03, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2kinda looks like gallium
- koopertrooper, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4i don't care if it is just a fountain, it looks cool
- board2, on 02/10/2008, -0/+0That's great find

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Whatever it is...it`s mine.
- cayoyin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0What is a T-1000?? I don't belong in digg
- WaterDragon, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2So, if this is water, can we assume that all the color bits are reflections of things around the fountain?
- Duositex, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Yes.
- nemobushido, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1No, they are what is refracting (not reflecting) through, from all sides.
- 4tuneCookie, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Reminds me of the Terminator
- Ubergoober3, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2I just crapped one of those!
- sean9812, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0WOW, that is wicked cool!
I love photography! - apollydon01, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3No, i cannot believe that is water.
@all you stupid photographers:
Let me stay in my own little world where things look and act exactly as i think they should. If you have a picture where they don't, keep it to yourself. how dare you try to enlighten me. - chromerium, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5Wow, some people are easily amused... :P
- bterr004, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I love it when pages with super descriptive explanations and perfect English are submitted!!
- nottheonlychris, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1THIS IS WARTAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I'm so sorry, I couldnt help myself D: - jimsf, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2The only thing noteworthy about this image is that its a decent abstract. There isn't any "wow factor" with this image. It's just a fast shutter speed and lack of surrounding that leave this to the imagination.
- DieGOPNazis, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2That's not water! That's a Cyberdyne Terminator T-1000 model !!! Run for your lives!!!
- FluxHarmonic, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Meh.
- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Nothing special. Terrible composition, boring subject, bad lighting. It's just a basic stop motion photo, like turning on your kitchen tap and using a flash...water looks cool when frozen about 98% of the time, there are thousands of other photos on the internet that are simplistic stop-motion photos of water. They could've made it more interesting, or the submitter could've submitted a better photo.
- zarand, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1boring...took me all of 10 seconds to figure it out wihtout reading the title.
- marciobom, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0teste
- ChagrinRiddle, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4"Can you believe this is water?"
Yes, I can. - mach32, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2STUNNING! i'm writing home about this.
- digjam, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Trick photography
