- Erectus, on 10/12/2007, -7/+123Oh boy. From what I've seen, most diggers are certainly *not* geniuses.
- mathchemist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+42The description says volumes about the ego of the average digger.
- LordSkywalker, on 10/12/2007, -3/+40Suggesting I'm a genius? Dugg.
- jordansampson, on 10/12/2007, -8/+39The "digg down button" does more harm than good in the hands of morons.
- cpritchard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up words and phrases and clauses. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Apparently you don't read the comments around here much, sinner0423. The average digg reader is kind of an idiot.
- modernhumorist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16I used to think that diggers were smarter-than-average at least, but lately the comments section of digg has been ridiculous!
If it's not a complete idiot rambling about the article when they haven't even read it, it's a pseudo-intellectual using thesaurus.com to try to make himself sound brilliant or like an expert in whatever the article was about. - macamatition, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Foolish nincompoops probably don't even know how many chromosomes they have!!!
A girl in my science class (8th grade) Thought a tree was an element....and no i'm not in the special class. - Klisk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19You eat doodies.
- uhohXaxioms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13And just remember that the other kids only make fun of you because they are jealous.

Dugg down for using hard words. - nitsuj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Prepare for crushing disappointment.
- Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Where is the part about LSD? And having an over sized frontal lobe?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I'm a Jenius.
- pauleric, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Inability to recognize sarcasm? Check.
- sinembarg0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6From Wikipedia:
English coordinating conjunctions are for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so (which form the mnemonic FANBOYS).
Fanboys ha! - buddyfarr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I like Riemann noodles. they are good stuffs...he he!
;)
/sarcasm - sensical, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6To think like a genius you just have to keep track of everything in your head so your brain can make new connections naturally. All those pointers aren't going to help if you have a poor memory.
- neuralzen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4One method of inspiration I have read about in my Mind Hacks book (O'Reiley Publishing) is that Dali, Einstein and Edison would all set themselves up to be awoken right as they fall asleep. The brain state is right before REM (hypo-something, don't remember off the top of my head) is thought to be a well of creativity. Edison would hold ball bearings whie sitting in a chair with pie plates below. And Dali would envision his surreal landscapes often by falling asleep with his arm on a counter, a spoon under his arm and his chin propped in the spoon, so when he drifted off, his head would drop and he would awaken to paint or write notes! Try it out! FYI you will know you have hit on the state when you feel like you are falling before deep sleep.(your vestibular kinda goes to "sleep" at this point, and that controls your sense of balance in consciousness.)
- kiwimonk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7mama always said i wuz special
- daldredge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Allot isn't the correct word.
Definitions of allot on the Web:
* assign: give out or allot; "We were assigned new uniforms"
* accord: allow to have; "grant a privilege"
* distribute: administer or bestow, as in small portions; "administer critical remarks to everyone present"; "dole out some money"; "shell out pocket money for the children"; "deal a blow to someone" - cruzlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3wow sinner.... You used 'ramifications'!!!
Sometimes I wish my actions had ramifications. In practice, they hardly ever have consequences. - Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"Even if you're not a genius,(though most diggers probably are.)..."
Have you ever been to digg.com before? - NamelessCoward, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6@joeshlub: the 'morons' have discovered that you too have a red thumbs down to be clicked. *click*
- Pulp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Someone needs to introduce you to some common punctuation marks.
- cpbrown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2jee that's just how i think normally man.

- baxtermaddux, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5i want to take an online iq test so i can prove once and for all that my iq is bigger than my shoe size
- jhshukla, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3it's lobotomy. ah! me silly. you are not a genius by any chance, are you?
- sterken, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3
Welcome to digg,
If you believe in conspiracies, can somehow link the sleep cycles of wombats to 9/11, or can figure a new way to associate any story to the "Bush Mafia" then you are a genius.
If you disagree with someone, then "you are a complete idiot."
Happy New Year :-) - Stevethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sorry dude but you become a genius you ain't born one, at least there is no scientific observance of born geniuses. That's why genius people "proclaim" themselves from the age of 5 upwards. Never confuse swift learners with smarties, while swift learning indicates some kind of intelligence it doesn't prove you're genius. Remember you can only become one, nobody is born that way.
- CycloneNimrod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"I fully know the ramifications of most everything that I do"
Oh god I love that :P - Soldan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2the easiest way to think like a genius is to stop reading lame posts on Digg.....
doh...too late...you just lost a few more IQ points..!!!! - 405994, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Step #1: Don't read articles with the title: "How to Think Like A Genius."
- yahoofrom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm the genius of geniuses. I can prove Riemann hypothesis in one second and then disprove it in another second.
- 5blocksfree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@joe
"How" isn't the problem. "Why," however, seems to escape a good portion of digg users. - joeshlub, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5jealous of the digg communities collective ability to not get laid! I mean... ***** wait a minute...
- HsoKinees, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that's interesting.. i swear i downloaded a book with similar content to this.. *punches F3 on the desktop to load up Locate32*
......Ebook 10 (Discover Your Genius) (ebook-portal.blogspot.com).pdf
yep, i did XD - vizerei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agree with Erectus.
Reference the "Plane on a treadmill" posting...definately alot of people at the opposite end of the spectrum from genius. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1To think like a genius just think unlike an idiot.
- anniseast, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1How did this become about diggers???????????????????
FABULOUS article. - DatoeDakari, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What does it mean if you already do all of these things?....
- echoforever, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2If such a list really helped at all, Darwin Awards would have had a tough time getting contenders. Geniuses are either born genius or have been in the company of geniuses long enough.
- Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You have to love google's "define:"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+10Agreed, dugg.
- Blueberryhills, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The points tell you the attributes of a genius. Being born with a high IQ doesn't necessarily make you a genius if you don't use your possibilities, the same the other way round, but it sure affects your ability to come up with complex ideas.
And by the way: How do you measure IQ? You can train for common IQ-tests.
You can always change the way you're thinking... - mrphilosophizer, on 08/14/2008, -0/+0Ok pretty much i don't see what this has to do with Aristotle. Unless of course they think the article is referring to his writing about logic and the scientific method.
Even I've got better stuff on aristotle at www.thephilosophizer.com and i'm a noob! - mrmatchgame, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Most diggers here are smarter them the Avg. person, some here are dumb as *****, and some are avg. that just know allot(or too much)
